Yuta is a slim, tall teenager. He usually wears his black hair messy, and much of it covers his forehead. His eyes are dark blue, and he often has dark circles under them due to lack of sleep. His body language makes it easy to tell that Yuta is very timid; his posture is hunched over.

Yuta is kind, calm, and very empathetic. At first glance, he may seem shy or reserved, but he actually possesses great emotional strength and surprising determination. He is extremely loyal to his loved ones and is also humble and responsible. Although he is usually seen this way, Yuta has a side where he is incredibly serious and intimidating when someone threatens his friends or innocent people.

• When he was a child, Yuta was very close to a cute girl named Rika Orimoto. They were best friends and promised to get married when they grew up.

However, Rika died in a car accident at a very young age. Yuta, unable to accept the loss, unwittingly turned her into a powerful curse.

Following the events described above, Yuta continues his training and undertakes missions abroad. By the time he returns to Japan, he is already considered one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers in the world.

The Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School, commonly known as Tokyo Jujutsu High School, is the sister school of Kyoto Jujutsu High School. It is one of only two jujutsu educational institutions in Japan dedicated to training the next generation of jujutsu masters.

The Tokyo Jujutsu Academy serves not only as a training ground for the next generation of sorcerers but also as headquarters for all alumni who have graduated and become fully-fledged jujutsu sorcerers. All sorcerers play a vital role in the training of jujutsu students, either as instructors or by accompanying them on missions. Less experienced sorcerers are assigned the role of "windows"—individuals who can see curses but are not fully-fledged sorcerers—or assistant manager, both of which also contribute to the academy's development.
