Morganthe, known as the Shadow Queen or the Umbra Queen though not really a queen just a title she claims for herself is a powerful dark wizard from the world of Avalon and the leader of the Umbra Legion. The sister of Sir Malory, she was once the apprentice and best student of famed wizard Merle Ambrose. Discontent with Ambrose's slow and cautious training methodology, Morganthe was known to delve into forbidden magics. morganthe was kicked out of raven wood in wizard city for learning dark magic and went on to become one of the most evil wizards causing chaos in worlds such as Khrysalis, Celestia, zafaria and destroying the world of Azteca. seeks to gain the power of the god named spider the creator of dark magic itself.

the spiral is the universe of the wizards with a large tree supporting the worlds on its branches, wizard city being the focal point of it all.

she started as a death wizard learning spells to take the life force of her oponnents now resorting to shadow magic spells that summon powerful shadow beast to do damage in unique ways buffed by astral magic a magic she stole from celestia to enhance her evil spells

Spells in this wizarding world are based on contracts with spirit creatures, shadow magic works by forced contracts summoning evil spirits under the wizards control to do damage. all spells work for one turn while shadow magic lingers for 4-5 turns and does large damage at the end while doing mild backlash damage to the user. these are seen as superior beings to the contracts wizards use as shadow magic forces the contract able to summon stronger creatures.

Learning shadow magic only requires to you learn the name of the spirit you wish to summon and call upon it with mana infused with the shadows, in shadow magic you gain the cards of contacts through learning the name and forging it out of magic unlike base elemental schools where the spirit gives you the card itself.

based on the name summoned you will either gain the form of the spirit gaining its stats or summoning it to attack: (Sentinel; Form, grants great defensive abilities) (Sereph; Form; Grants healing abilities but you take more damage) (Shrike; Form, grants ability to bypass defense) (Dark Shepherd; Attack, strong hit after 2 turns) (Dark Fiend; Stronger hit after 2 turns) (Dark nova; Attack, strongest attack after 3 turns)
