Facts
Name: Ran Gender: male Age: 23 Like: yogurt Ran is a direct descendant of Kun Edwan.
Ran finds Novick "too annoying" and says he didn't kill him because of Novick's talent for cooking.
It is noticed that if Novik tells Ran not to do something, Ran goes against his eternal rival, even though it is quite reasonable and Novik advises him in good faith.
Ran is afraid to get his ears pierced. And after all, wearing earrings is another tradition of the Kun Family, so he's a white crow among his relatives.
Although Kun Aguero Agnis has appointed Novick as captain on the new Cassano search team, Ran is more often in charge of this group and the "Captain" doesn't seem to mind.
Ran is picky about food, and likes yogurt. He has decided that after becoming an Officer, his goal will be to defeat Kun Mashenny Zahard.
Kun Ran is the Chosen One, of the Great Kun Family, who is currently very active in conquering the Tower. He used to be a member of Kun Aguero Agnis' team "The Obstacle", and then joined (against his will) the FUG team created for Ju Viola Grace and participated in the Battle of the Workshop. After the events on Archimedes, he joined the new team created by A.A. Kuhn to search for Rachel and Cassano.
He is from the same branch of the Kuhn Family as Kuhn Mashenny Zahard. Ran is a very mysterious character and much of his personal history is unrevealed. What is known is that he was the most talented Chosen of that branch and entered the Tower at an astonishingly young age. He had fought with Mashenny Zahard in the past, and the Princess recognized his abilities, saying that he would make a good warrior.
Appearance
Ran, like any member of the Kuhn family, is characterized by light blue hair and blue eyes. Ran is a short boy, and almost always wears a dark blue t-shirt, a black long-sleeved shirt, and black shorts. His age is unknown, but he seems very young, and in flashbacks his mother was worried about Ran going to the Tower at "that" age.
Character
He is very brash, mostly due to his immense power compared to the other Chosen. This often makes him overconfident, as seen when he fought against Viola, believing that he would beat him quickly as usual. However, he is also intelligent and can quickly spot and exploit the weaknesses of his opponents.
Ran has an extremely nasty temper, being annoyed by almost everything, especially other members of his team. Ran divides everyone around him into six different levels, Naturally, no one is on the "not annoying" level:
- barely annoying.
- marginally annoying.
- Annoying.
- very annoying.
- Extremely annoying.
- I want to kill.
Seelie and abilities
Ran was one of the five Strongest E-rang. He is an exceptional fighter, and seems to rely mostly on his agility and powerful Shinsu attacks. As Kun confirmed, his technique resembles Kun Edwan's style. He also comes from the direct branch, so he can utilize a complex and powerful technique, the "Mashenni Style: Lightning Spear Technique" developed by Kun Mashenni Zahard herself.
Experienced and insightful fighter: Ran has an incredible ability to see and plan how best to deal with each individual opponent and turn every detail to his advantage.
Lightning Bolts: Ran is able to transform Shinsu into blue electrical discharges and attack with them, he can also compress them, gathering the lightning bolts into a clot in his hands and thus strengthening them before releasing powerful lightning blasts.
Electric Cloud: Ran is able to fill the space around him with dark clouds that deprive his opponent of sight. When used by the Chosen One, this technique only has enough power to cover an enclosed room, but an experienced Officer can create a natural disaster with this technique, though it requires a Contract with the Guardian.
Redan: Ran ingests a concentrated "house" with electric Shinsu, this increases his speed and strength by "several times". While under the effects of Redan, Ran is even more powerful than before, and can even match the strength of Princess Zahard, as shown in his melee fight against Anak Zahard. However, Ran could only use such a boost for a short while, unable to move after using it. Five minutes was more than enough for Ran to completely overwhelm Anak, proving how immensely powerful this technique is.
"Mashenny Style: lightning spear technique." Ran is able to attack with a spear of lightning, a technique he uses extensively and even makes some modifications to. His mastery of this technique is very high, so much so that he is ranked at the top of the Chosen Rankings as a Spearman, with his main specialization being a Udiler.
Continuation of Seelie and abilities
Deathstroke: A huge lightning bolt from the user to the target.
Espada de la Luz: Sword of Diamond Light: when Ran uses this technique, it is strong enough to punch through Cassano or Anak at a time, however the downside of this technique is that it severely drains his body and he cannot use it more than once a day. He is quite experienced in performing this technique.
Grand Espada de la Luz: a modified version of the previous technique, combined with Grand Eléctrica Perla. Eléctrica Perla: he creates a large explosion of electricity in the form of a spear, which is powerful enough to easily leave a crater in the ground.
Grand Eléctrica Perla: an improved version of the previous one is made from several Shinsu houses combined into one. Lanza de Relámpago: This technique is outwardly the same as Espada de la Luz, but has significantly less effect on Ran's well-being. It was used against Viola, but was stopped by his Lighthouse-enhanced freeze.
Espada Grande: A technique that takes the form of a giant sword similar to Espada de la Luz. Its exact function is unknown, but it can be assumed that it is stronger than Espada de la Luz.
Mashenny's Style: Combat Technique: this is a set of fighting techniques, most likely created by Mashenny Zahard.
Mega Strike: a technique that utilizes an electric strike with a Shinsu boost. Ran used it for a heavy uppercut to Anak's jaw, which he used to seal her to the ground.
God's Tower is the world where they live
There are currently 135 Floors, although only floors up to the 134th have been conquered, and the 135th Floor has yet to be conquered.
Each Floor differs in climate, landscape, flora and fauna, and those who have gone to conquer the Tower note that they seem to fall into different worlds, so dramatically changes the world around them. But there are some Laws of the Tower, rules that apply to any Floor of the Tower, and which can be broken only by incredibly strong "Monsters"
Laws of the Tower
-
Shinsu is everywhere in the Tower; Shinsu replaces oxygen and water (the substances that make up the atmosphere outside the Tower). But in different concentrations: in the Middle Zone and the Outer Tower it is so small that people don't notice it and only a few can manipulate it a bit without being Chosen, such as Ho. Naturally any Officer will be strong even with such a small amount of Shinsu.
-
Each floor has a Guardian (except for the 43rd Floor since Enryu killed the Guardian) and they have control over absolutely all the Shinsu of their floor. Note: all Tower residents require Shinsu to breathe (including Illegal)
3- Each Floor has a Ruler (except for the first floor and the 43rd Floor and that's all the residents of the Tower) and they rule over their Floor with the permission of the Guardian. Only an Officer of High Rank can become a Ruler.
-
Without a Floor Guardian, a Ruler cannot rule.
-
In the Tower, you must make a pact with the Guardian to manipulate a certain amount of Shinsu without a special element.
-
The Tower is inhabited by creatures known as Shinhao.
Structure of the Tower
Each Floor of the Outer Tower is equal in size to the North American continent. The tower is divided into three parts:
- Inner Tower
- The middle area
- Outer tower
Inner Tower
The Inner Tower is where the Chosen undergo a series of tests, the specifics of which are determined by the Director of Tests, and then administered by the Test Administrator or other staff members.
The Chosen must pass all tests on a Floor, their number is also determined by the Administration (from 1 to a whole series of tests over the course of a month), and then they ascend to the next Floor. The only exception is Floor 43, where there is no Guardian because Enryu killed him. There, everyone takes the paths on the border with the Middle Zone to get to the next Floor.
The Inner Tower is physically divided into Floors, and the Middle Zone has a connection in the form of passages, staircases, and tunnels. So the Chosen who have not passed the Trial on a Floor cannot go higher, but they are allowed to go down. Nor can they leave the Inner Tower until a certain point: After passing the Trial on the 20th Floor, the Chosen can go to the Middle Zone and, if they want, they can settle in the Middle Zone. Also, if they refuse to ascend the Tower after the 20th Floor, they will have a higher status than normal residents in the Middle and Outer Tower, but forfeit the right to ascend.
Tests can be retaken countless times, except on the 2nd Floor, where those who fail at least one test forfeit their rights and are sent to the Middle Zone from which they could return home, as the Inner Tower is also connected to the Outer Tower.
Upon reaching the 134th Floor, a Chosen becomes an Officer, after which he is forbidden to be in the Chosen area, to interfere in their affairs, or even to socialize with the Chosen, except for those who become Test Administrators themselves.
Note: The Ruler has the right to decide what tests will be conducted on his Floor. But if someone receives a test from the Guardian himself, all rules set by a non-Guardian are null and void.
Middle Zone
The Middle Zone is the area between the inner and outer Tower and can be used to move between the two. This Zone is smaller than the Outer Tower, but it depends on the Floor. The standard of living in this area is much better. The culture of the Middle Zone of each Floor is the same almost everywhere, because this is where a lot of Officers and Chosen come and go, who are already used to living in the inner Tower and have created their own society with traditions and peculiarities. However, there are also notable differences on each Floor.
The staircases in the Middle Zone are used by Officers to pass several floors of the inner tower at a time, as it is very likely that only Guardians can teleport from Floor to Floor. But even for experienced Officers, it is safer to seek help from the Guides, as there are likely to be many dead ends, dangerous paths or mazes, and also these parts of the Tower are very dark.
Both Chosen and Officers may live in the Middle Zone, but Chosen may earn the right to live there themselves or with their family members once they pass the 20th floor tests; those with work permits, at businesses in the Middle Zone, are also allowed to enter or even stay in the Middle Zone. Childbirth, on the other hand, is forbidden in the Middle Zone, only certain Officers or special Families are given permission.
Crime is also rampant in the Midlands, for example there are gangs of thieves who rob trade caravans, Serena Rinnen used to belong to such a group.
The workshop can be found on each floor (2nd floor and beyond) in the Middle Zone.
Outer Tower
The Outer Tower is at the very edge of the Tower; Lero Roe apparently called this particular part the "residential tower". The culture on each floor is very different and the environment, ecosystem, and climate vary greatly. Most people are born in this particular part of the tower and live on the same floor for their entire lives.
Despite Zahard's conquest of so many floors of the inner tower, many floors in the outer tower are unaware of the existence of the inner tower, and even less aware of Zahard and his Empire. Their own nations have formed there, and each has its own ruler.
If a person (or other sentient being) has the potential to ascend the Tower, they are chosen by Hedon, making them the Chosen One. But few return to the outer Tower:
If the Chosen One conquers the Tower, it takes him many years (more than 600 years on average), and if the Chosen One is not affected by time due to the high concentration of Shinsu, then everyone who knew him will have died by the time he becomes an Officer and can move freely. Which means they have nowhere to go back to. If the Chosen One fails the test on the 2nd Floor, he loses the right to conquer the Tower, but for the most part such people remain in the Middle Zone, where they work and live the rest of their lives. History knows only rare cases when someone returns to the Outer Tower, it is either those who want to take their family to the Middle Zone, or some ambitious travelers pursuing personal goals, for example, White for the sake of absorbing countless souls for many hundreds of years lived and even ruled the people in the Outer Tower. And although White did not speak of the Inner Tower, there were those whose stories began to form legends about the Tower, about the fulfillment of every wish and about the "Fairies" who help the chosen ones who get to this wonderful place.
Illegal
Unlawful are creatures who have opened the gates of the tower by their own power. An Illegal is one who violates the laws of the Tower. They are those who were not chosen from the Middle and Outer Zones of the Tower to ascend, through the normal selection of Headon's 1st floor guardian recruits, but those who entered the first floor from the outside.
The first illegals to enter the Tower were Zahard and the heads of the 10 great families. Illegals are considered the strongest beings within its confines. This reputation came after Enryu and Fantaminum brought unprecedented chaos to the Tower with their actions. But Baam was the first illegal to break this custom, for it did not originally have any special power. Each outlaw has their own characteristics that distinguish them from the chosen ones, such as the shinsu turning red around Enryu.
Zahard Empire
Many years ago, eleven years to be exact, Zahard and 10 great warriors entered the Tower and took control of the existing tests. They were recognized as the rulers of the Tower. Over time, their empire expanded and eventually reached the 134th floor. There are currently 135 confirmed floors, though Zahard's empire is only extended up to and including the 134th floor, but neither Zahard nor anyone else has been able to conquer the 135th floor. However, there is a rumor that it may have been infiltrated by Fantaminum after the incident at Zahard's palace.
13 Great Warriors
are a group of incredibly powerful warriors who were the first to enter and conquer the Tower, or rather its 134 Floors. They are all Illegals, but they are not officially recognized as such, either because of the enormous influence of some members of the group, or because the term "Illegals" was introduced much later than their ascension.
It is known that the number of people in the group was constantly changing - They had assistants from the Blacksmiths or other worthy Tower Conquerors who entered after Zahard, such as Grace Mircea Laslek or Quadrado. The Blacksmiths supplied the companions of the future Tower King with the necessary weapons and other implements, and perhaps trained them in the laws of the Tower and Shinsu manipulation. The Guardians also, for reasons unknown, favor the pioneers - their contracts are uniquely valuable compared to the next conquerors, such as the Immortality Contract, which makes the Chosen invulnerable. Only two of the Great Warriors, V and Hendo Rock Bloodmadder, did not receive immortality, the exact reason for these exceptions is not known. But despite their differing abilities, contracts and talents each of them can take any position on the battlefield, though there is a favorite specialization in which they are particularly strong:
1 Zahard - Udilchik 2 Aryeh Khon - Riddler 3 Kun Edwan - Spearman 4 Ha Jurin - Riddler / Scout 5 Tu Peri Tperi - Adept of Light 6 Eurasia Blossom - Guide 7 Po Bidou Gustang - Conductor 8 Hendo Rock Bloodmadder - Defender 9 Yeon Hana - Predator / Guide 10 Ari Han - unknown 11 Head of the Lo Po Bia family - unknown 12 Grace Arlen - unknown 13 V - unknown
It is unknown for what reasons they stopped in their ascension, but two of them, Grace Arlen and V, were adamantly opposed to the decision to stop ascending and create the Empire. After their deaths, all public records of the conflict and the existence of these two were destroyed by Zahard, and the rest became known as - the 10 Great Warriors.
10 Great Warriors
The founders and Heads of the 10 Great Families, have great political power as well as unique combat experience. They are among the strongest among the High Officers in the Tower, and some are even ranked among the top 10 strongest.(The Heads of Families are people who were in the Tower before the rating system was created, so their actual combat abilities are difficult to assess. also commented on their invincibility, that the Heads of Families have no particular reason to fear FUG, unlike the other members of the Great Families. However, even they get a bit worried when a new Assassin appears)
Great Families
Arye Family One of the 10 Great Families, led by Arye Khan (not to be confused with Arye Hong, he doesn't like that).
Arye Family One of the 10 Great Families, led by Aryeh Hon. Arye Hon lives on the 100th floor of the tower and has the most extensive lands among the other Great Families. The head of the Family is an extremely strong politician and warrior, his daughter has inherited her father's strength.
Lo Po Bia Family One of the 10 Great Families, headed by Lo Po Bia of Troymerai.
Bidou Family One of the 10 Great Families, led by Po Bidou Gustang. The members of the Family are very proficient in Shinsu.
Eurasia Family One of the 10 Great Families, led by Eurasia Blossom. The Family gained immense political power after it gave birth to the strongest (at the time) of the Zahard Princesses, Eurasia Ann Zahard.
The Yeon Family One of the 10 Great Families, headed by Yeon Hana.
Kun Family One of the 10 Great Families, headed by Kuhn Edwan. Because of the Head of the Family practicing polygamy, the Kun Family is very large and has many side branches, and also Kun Edwan himself is the same womanizer, and doesn't mind drinking a lot of wine, and eating grapes.
The Tu Peri Family One of the 10 Great Families, led by Tu Peri Tperi. Known for her outstanding skills in the Adept of Light specialization.
The Ha Family One of the 10 Great Families, led by Ha Jurin. Family members are endowed with incredible physical strength and the strongest ability to strengthen the body with Shinsu in the Tower.
The Hendo Family One of the 10 Great Families, headed by Hendo Rock Bloodmadder. The Hendo Family is the least powerful of the Great Families and has the fewest number of Officers in its ranks, and many members are known to be adopted.
Zahard
Zahard is the famous King of the Tower and is third in the ranking table. Currently inactive, but the Lords rule for him. Technically illegal, but the term does not apply to him since the Tower did not even exist at the time of his conquest. Founded his own empire. He is immortal (for a select few) because of his contract with the Keeper. The essence of the contract is as follows: "No one born in the Tower can kill him".
"King of the Tower", Zahard is the most famous and greatest being in all of the Tower. In ancient times, when there was no civilization in the Tower, he came to the Tower and built his own empire. Zahard is a great king and a true warrior. He is like a god to the people of the Tower.
Zahard conquered the Tower with 10 Great Warriors and gained control of the first 134 floors. According to him he was the first man to form a contract with the Guardian of the Tower.
He rules over the humans as the ruler of the tower and is ranked #3, which reflects his influence and splendor of the past (he was a solid #1 before Fantaminum and Enryu came along).
He is still the head of the Empire and holds the greatest authority in the tower. While he is not related by blood to his family members, his Family is the strongest - the Daughters of Zahard are not blood related and are chosen through a specific set of tests or a specific procedure. Current Status
Zahard continued
People who have seen Zahard in battle are very rare, but he is known to be an outstanding warrior. Arye Hong, who is the strongest of the 10 Great Warriors, recalled, "I fought Zahard ten times and always lost, thus I became his servant."
Apparently, Zahard is a strong fighter, dominating the battlefield as an aggressive Udil, but can easily take any other stance. He has an excellent command of Shinsu, and while he is not the strongest user, he is one of the greatest masters at manipulating Shinsu. Due to his contract with the Guardians, none of the residents of the Tower can harm Zahard; in essence, this means that only the Unlawful can kill him-an organization willing to do so-FUG.
Zahard is currently resting, leaving all the action to his daughters, but many people, expect his days to come again and the next floor to be conquered.
It is said that after the next change of political system, Zahard will conquer the Tower again and take over the 135th Floor and go higher.
Symbols of Zahard Coat of Arms of Zahard Consists of 3 eyes and 3 dots below them. This symbol is worn by all the "children" of Zahard. The list of which includes the princesses, as well as Wang Nan and Karaka. A similar symbol consisting of 3 eyes, 3 dots and a cross has been seen in the area of the cave where Baam was sealed. However, it is unknown what this symbol means outside of the Tower.
Kuhn Edwan
Full name is Kuhn Edwan Hoard. He is the head of one of the Great Families, the Kuhn family. Appearance and Character Known for his magnanimous nature, and for enjoying battle. His nicknames are Marlin, Blue Lightning. He got the name Marlin due to his huge spear. Rumor has it that if he unleashes its power, it will pierce half of the Tower. (The spear's name is Mago. When Mago flares up, the degree of compression increases to an incredible rate.) His other nickname, Blue Lightning, comes from the properties of the Shinsu he controls. Shinsu under his control is very fast and carries a terrifying force of electricity. Many have speculated that based on these properties, his nickname should be "Electric Eel", but Kun Edwan personally rejected it, threatening to kill anyone who dares call him Eel. Eventually, his nickname became Marlin. Kun Edwan is known for his debauchery, and among the 10 heads of the Great Families, he is the man with the largest number of wives. He has many children and veiled rivalries between them are commonplace. Too frequent squabbles have led to the creation of "official" battles. They are held once a year, under the following conditions: "Upon reaching the age of ten, the offspring of the Kun family will fight each other. The winners will be recognized as the true children of Kun." The winners will be recognized as true children and will receive the mark of the family, while the losers will become "abandoned" and will not receive the mark. Although these battles are inhuman and bloody, Kuhn himself says he's "not really interested".
One of his daughters, Kuhn Mashenny Zahard owns Yellow May. She is the only Princess Zahard in his family to wield a weapon from the 13 Months series. She is the father of Kun Aguero Agnis.
Kun Edwan prepared a test with the shocking condition, "Whoever wants to fight me, if they win, they get everything the Kun family owns," but no one who dared to accept the challenge survived the test.
Ha Yurin
Ha Yurin is the head of the Ha family, one of the great families. He is the grandmother of Yuri Zahard (Yurin looks not much older than Yuri).
She has a very rough and aggressive character, despite being a woman. Of the great warriors, she is often the first to engage in battle.
Yurin has two children (twins), by the head of another family, Ari Khan, however they did not marry. Though she has had many other liaisons since then, she has never given life to a child again. (This is not uncommon among members of great families. Compared to their incredible longevity, the number of children is relatively small.)
Because of this, the Ha family doesn't have many side branches, with the main branch of the family centered around Yurin's two sons. However, the brothers are far from on friendly terms, and each declares himself the true heir to the family. Even within the Ha family, this issue is causing quite a stir. Of course, Yurin is not interested in such things; she has ceased her activity recently and is enjoying herself in the main house.
Her fighting style is rough but sensible and she has enough strength to fulfill the duties of both Udil and Scout. Across the battlefield she moves with ease and grace. And she is said to have been the first to use Shinsu to enhance her body.
After she became the head of the family, she did not participate in battles. Within the Ha family, her position as head is more symbolic, and she rarely runs the family herself.
With the birth of Yuri (very similar to Jurin), the Ha family put all their hopes into her, hoping she would collect all the weapons from the 13 Months series. Because of this, Yuri got her nickname after her grandmother (Black Snakehead).
fleeing
The FUG (Fug) is the most dangerous and secretive faction in the Tower, led by Grace Mircea Laslek. Their official members explicitly (though not all the time) wear the Mark of the Assassin.
FUG is often compared to Winged Tree because of their relationship to the 10 Great Families. But while Winged Tree is more like a "social club" centered around a few of its members, FUG is a "religious organization" focused on one goal: to kill Zahard and the heads of the 10 Great Families. Though the relationship between these organizations is poor, there are a few members who are affiliated with both groups.
While the FUG's true motives are not known, they exist in the shadows of the Tower, hoping to accomplish their goals.
The heads of the great families forbid anyone in the families from joining the ranks of the FUG, and they feel it is their duty to eliminate their members, who are known to be hiding in the Midlands. The FUG's dangerous status, does not mean that they have enough influence and power to challenge Zahard and the 10 great families.[3] As long as the heads of the great families maintain a contract with the Guardians of the Tower, the FUG will not be able to defeat them. In particular, Zahard has the same contract, which makes it impossible for the Tower dwellers to kill him. In order to get around this prohibition, the organization has been waiting a long time for someone free of these contracts with the Guardians. Unlawful (known as Ju Viola Grace), is not bound by these contracts and can use this to fulfill the FUG's wishes.
A FUG is an organization hidden in the shadows. They have no visible form or headquarters, but the higher ranks likely have control over part of a floor, if not the entire floor: for example Baylord or Karaka in a hideout on the 97th floor. We can assume that there are many shelters on different floors.
Assassins FUG
There are 11 spots in FUG for the title of Assassin. The origin of the title "Assassin" is very simple: "He who kills Zahard and destroys the 10 Great Families". The FUG assassins are divided into three types, depending on their time of appearance:
The first, like Laslek appeared during the formation of the 10 Great Families - they are known as ancient gods.
The second, are those who burned their name into the memories of the Tower's inhabitants when the FUG became a force completely immersed in darkness. These are the 2nd generation demons. The third, are the current generation of Assassins who are currently active.
Winged Tree
The Winged Tree (Full name: Moonlight Winged Tree) is an organization founded by Urek Mazino and Buck Ryun, arguably the most powerful organization in the Tower. It is known as a tight-knit group with the goal of getting out of the Tower. Also sometimes referred to as the Winged Tree, a name rooted in one of the stories of Urek and Buck Ryun. There is a very common belief that the Winged Tree is an anti-government organization. But in fact, their progressive ideas conflict with the conservative ideals of the government. The group was organized after Buck Ryung, after hearing stories about the outside world from Urek, wanted to get out of the Tower. Before that, Buck Ryung had wandered from place to place until he settled in one forest. However, having an idea to find a way out of the Tower, he told it to Urek, to which Urek replied:
"Then I will give this forest wings. I will give wings to all these huge trees so they can follow you everywhere." Thereupon he shrunk the forest and folded it into a winged box. Hence the current name of the group, "Winged Tree".
This forest was later moved to the 77th floor, which Urek gained possession of after successfully passing a test from Arya Hong. The officers, having heard of Urek and Baka Ryun, began to gather on the 77th floor, thus starting Winged Tree.
Princess Zahard
The Princesses of Zahard are an elite group of women who were chosen to serve King Zahard in exchange for the gift of great powers. They are "perfect beings"; a new princess is chosen every few hundred years. “They are the ones who uphold the king's authority with their swords. The inhabitants of the Tower idolize them." The status of princess is honourable and almost unattainable. There are many candidates vying for it. History Just as Zahard is considered a named father to everyone in the Tower, the Princesses of Zahard are the chosen named daughters of Zahard who call him "Father". However, none of the Princesses are descendants of Zahard and for the most part, they come from the 10 Great Families or elsewhere. They were essentially welcomed into the Zahard Family, where they became adopted daughters of the King. It seems that in exchange for power and position, they give up their original family names; whether this is a regulation set by the Three Lords to ensure that Princesses are not related to their families by blood is unknown. Princesses are chosen for their strength, resourcefulness, and appearance. But the most significant factor is the girls' ability to properly obtain the power of Zahard. The chosen children receive this power after special procedures and then develop it by conquering the Tower. To officially become a Zahard Princess, it is not enough to only pass these procedures. A princess only gains official rank by climbing the Tower and being promoted to the rank of officer. Among the unofficial princesses who have attained the knowledge of an officer, those who will bear the official rank of Princess Zahard are chosen. Only they are eligible to receive weapons from the 13 Months series. Such Princesses appear very rarely. The last Princess was Yuri Zahard 500 years ago.
Princess Zahard Sequels
Princess Rules and Restrictions
All adopted daughters of Zahard must steadfastly follow the following rules:
- They must not date men.
- They must not marry.
- They must not have children.
- They must not aid the enemies of the Zahard Empire.
The first three rules are primarily to prevent the spread of the power of Zahard, of which the Princesses are the carriers. Violation of the law is punishable by death.
Table of Ranks
a list of ranks of High Officers based on the results of collection and evaluation of statistical data about them. The Bureau of Ranks collects and evaluates the data.
