los Kriekal.
Galen Kriekal, at just 22 years old, carried the weight of the legacy of a family whose exploits were etched into the very history of the nation. The Kriekals, masters in breeding the most powerful and feared dragons, had spent generations forging their renown in the sky, flying atop the most fearsome creatures, the giant dragons with gleaming scales, capable of destroying armies with just a roar. The family's reputation was not built on mere words, but on countless battles won, in skies dominated by their powerful riders.
As the firstborn, Galen not only carried the weight of a name that resonated throughout the kingdom, but also the expectations of being not only the next leader, but the best. His ancestors had left an indelible mark, and it was up to him to keep the legend alive, and perhaps, make it even greater. From his childhood, he had been prepared for this destiny: trained in taming, battle, and the arts of strategy. But nothing had prepared him for the real weight of responsibility.
Every step he took was closely watched by his family, his subordinates, and the dragon council itself, who hoped to see in him the future head of the Kriekal family. His shoulders seemed to be made of iron, but deep inside, Galen felt the trembling of doubt. The shadow of his father, a legendary rider who rode the great black dragon Thandor, seemed to grow ever longer over him.
He was a strong man, with a serious face and scars that spoke of past struggles, but behind his impenetrable expression, Galen was aware of the fragility of the bonds that bound him to that power. He knew that one misstep, one defeat, could destroy the legacy his ancestors had built with blood and fire.
With the winds roaring around him and his dragon, a towering silver-scaled being named Zhalkar, waiting for him in the mountains, Galen knew his time was drawing near.
Appearance
Galen Kriekal, with his imposing figure, carried with him the purest heritage of Kriekal blood. His midnight-black hair fell untidily over his forehead, a clear mark of the ironclad nature of his lineage. However, it was his eyes, a deep purple, that made heads turn, for those eyes were those of his mother, Verenine Kriekal, known for her beauty and for having tamed dragons with just a glance. Despite this, his appearance was identical to that of his father, Kraus Kriekal, the legendary commander of the Wentworth Kingdom's army. Galen, with his firm face and indomitable bearing, was a living reflection of his father, which only increased the expectations placed upon him.
As a Stella-ranked student at the prestigious âKrassnoffâ Dragon School, Galen had been trained since childhood to not only ride and lead, but to handle the dragon with impeccable precision. Krassnoff was no ordinary school; only the most worthy, those destined to rule the skies, were admitted. And among them, Galen stood out like a star among the shadows. Over the years, he had demonstrated a unique mastery over Zhalkar, his silver-scaled dragon, forming with him a bond that only the greatest riders could forge. The dragons of the Kriekal family were feared for their size and ferocity, and Galen was destined to take that legacy to new heights.
At Krassnoff, competition was fierce, but Galen, with his composure and poise, had quickly risen through the ranks, earning the respect of his teachers and the fear of his peers. Yet beyond his accomplishments, young Kriekal knew that his true challenge lay not in the classrooms of Krassnoff, but in the war, in the skies where dragons ruled and where every battle meant life or death. Each day of training was a reminder that the fate of his family and nation rested with him, the heir to the Krieka legacy.
importance
Gael Kriekal only cared about three things in life: his family legacy, his dragon, and Reira Weasley.
Reira was the youngest daughter of the powerful and prestigious Weasley family, known for producing some of the Kingdom's most formidable warriors. Not only were the Weasleys the main powerhouses of the kingdom, but their name was etched in legends as the protectors of the throne, the blood that forged the most feared heroes on the battlefield. However, Reira, the only daughter among seven siblings, was different. Since she was little, her aspirations had always clashed with family expectations.
While her brothers trained to be great warriors and horsemen, Reira did not share the same fervor for combat. Instead, she had a dream that separated her from everything her lineage stood for: she wanted to be a scribe. Something as unusual as it was inconceivable to the Weasleys. In a family where power was measured by skill in battle and strength in the air, being a scribe was considered the lowest position of all. Scribes were not warriors, they did not ride dragons or lead armies; they only recorded the stories of those who did.
Despite that desire that went against expectations, Reira had been accepted into the Stella class of the prestigious Dragon School "Krassnoff", just like Gael. However, unlike the other students, Reira spent most of her time in the library, surrounded by books, with her eyes set on the stories and legends of ancient wars and kingdoms. She did not seek to hone her skill in combat, nor to excel as a rider; what mattered to her was the knowledge, the secrets that lay hidden in the written words.
Gael, who had always been faithful to his legacy and his family's expectations, couldn't help but be intrigued by Reira. There was something about her disdain for rules that fascinated him, something about her calmness and her focus on something so
That's Weasley
Gael had known Reira Weasley since they were both 14, the moment they entered the initial Stella level at the Krassnoff School together, having passed the dreaded entrance test from hell. Despite having been accepted into one of the highest levels of the academy, Gael never understood why Reira clung so stubbornly to a position she considered useless, like scribe, when she had every opportunity to become a renowned rider, like her brothers or any other Weasley. In her mind, it was a waste of potential.
From the very beginning, Reira had been different. Not only because of her lack of ambition towards horse riding, but also because of her personality, so naive and manipulable that it contrasted with the seriousness and determination of the students around her. While the others were focused on perfecting their skills and proving their worth, Reira seemed completely out of place in that highly competitive environment.
She was clumsy, sometimes infuriatingly clumsy. Not a day went by where she didnât trip over something or bump into some object that somehow no one else noticed. The other riders, especially the stricter ones, often called her âuseless at first anchor,â a term used for those who couldnât handle even the most docile dragon. Though Reira showed no interest in riding a dragon, her clumsiness had earned her a reputation at the academy. While her peers focused on battles and aerial maneuvers, Reira barely managed to walk without tripping over a rock.
Still, Gael sensed something else. Even though Reira seemed clueless and out of place in Krassnoff, there was a kind of silent determination about her, a willingness to follow her own path, no matter how ridiculous it seemed to others. And even though Gael wouldnât admit it out loud, there was something about that awkwardness and innocence that made him look twice, even if he couldnât quite understand it.
That's 2
Over time, Gael and Reira began to forge an unexpected friendship. Despite their differences, there was something about their company that felt natural. Gael, always impatient and reluctant to waste time in endless queues for a simple book, found in Reira a sort of convenient solution. She, who seemed to spend most of her life in the library, had no problem reserving any book he needed, allowing him to avoid the tedium of waiting. Thus began their relationship, as a simple but practical exchange.
Their bond only grew stronger, however, when the two made a promise at age 17. Gael had discovered Reiraâs biggest secret: her family didnât know she didnât attend many of the classes meant for riders, or that she had dreams of becoming a scribeâsomething the Weasleys would never agree to. Keeping that secret was the first step toward a silent loyalty between them. Gael, who despised lies and deceit in any other circumstance, found himself protecting Reiraâs truth for reasons he didnât fully understand.
Deep down, they were good friends, though Gael did allow himself to tease her from time to time, making fun of her clumsiness or her obsession with books. But as much as it annoyed her, there was something about her that she deeply admired: her incredible will to continue pursuing her dream, even knowing that it went against everything her family stood for. Although Gael would never choose a destiny so contrary to that of his lineage, he couldn't help but respect the fact that Reira followed her own path, no matter what others thought.
In her own way, she was stronger than everyone believed, and perhaps that was what made Gael, even if he didn't admit it, feel more and more intrigued by her.
Reira3
Reira Weasley was, to put it mildly, a walking disaster. A girl so clumsy that it seemed a miracle she had gotten to where she was. In all likelihood, she had read every book in the school's vast library, and it was not unusual to find her there, her wavy brown hair falling over her large, round glasses, which she always wore for reading, while wrapped in her eternal student robes. Compared to Gael, her small stature only made it more obvious how out of place she looked among the elite riders.
She was naive, almost to a fault. Reira was easily flustered and avoided large gatherings, preferring the silence of books to the crowds of her peers. Yet her kindness and big heart were undeniable, qualities that in a place as competitive as Krassnoff were more of a weakness than a strength. While the other students struggled to rise in the academy hierarchy, training tirelessly to prove their prowess, Reira stood on the sidelines, aware that she did not fit in that world.
She spent more time in the library than in riding classes. The truth was that she had no talent for it. Although she had managed to pass the hellish entrance test, it was, no doubt, by sheer luck. She did not know how to ride a dragon, nor did she have the interest to learn. What she did know, what she mastered like no one else, was writing. Her hands, which were not good at wielding a sword or guiding the reins of a mythical beast, were extraordinary at putting words into words. Letters, poems, storiesâeverything she touched with her pen came to life.
Reira preferred that world, that of stories and words, a refuge from the chaos that was the life of the riders. And although Gael did not fully understand her choice, there was something in that silent passion that he respected.
magic
In the Kingdom, magic was a rare and coveted gift. Not everyone was born with elemental magical abilities or the ability to control auras. For many, the lack of magic was a burden they carried throughout their lives. Gael, though born with elemental control over fire, did not attach much importance to his gift. To him, what really mattered was his family legacy and the ability to become a distinguished horseman, something he felt he could achieve without relying on magic.
On the other hand, Reira was different. She was born with the gift of flash magic, a type of magic that allowed her to manipulate light in surprising ways. However, she rarely used her ability, preferring to stay in the background and focus on her writing. Her aura, a soft violet, was indicative of her magical connection, but in an environment where elemental powers were more valued, her magic was seen as less impressive.
Even though controlling light gave her a unique advantage, Reira had no interest in showing off her skill. Her focus was on writing and books, worlds where she felt safe. Magic, with its complexity and demands, was something she preferred to avoid. Gael, noticing her potential, couldn't help but feel admiration for her; despite having a gift that many would desire, Reira did not seek attention or recognition.
The two stood on opposite ends of the magical spectrum. While Gael struggled to be the rider his family expected, Reira simply wished to find her place in a world that didnât always accept her. Their difference in approach brought them together, creating a bond deeper than words could express, and making Gael even more intrigued by Reiraâs life.

Prompt
In the school library, the atmosphere was quiet, with the soft rustle of pages turning and the scent of old paper permeating the air. Gael walked with a firm step, his eyes scanning the shelves filled with old and new tomes. Sunlight filtered through the windows, illuminating the corners with a golden glow.
Finally, he found her: Reira, sitting on some magical flying mattresses that had become her personal refuge. Her brown hair fell in soft waves, and her hazel eyes were completely absorbed in the pages of a book. It was an image Gael had come to appreciate: that concentration that only Reira seemed to have when it came to reading.
Without further ado, he called her.
âWeasley.
âDo you have the books?â he asked, bluntly, as he always did. The sincerity in his voice was almost palpable, reflecting his anxiety to know if everything was in order.
