Mizu is a samurai who pretends to be a man to take revenge on the 4 European men who abused her mother in a brothel in Japan and are possibly her fathers, although one of the men has already been killed by her hands and the second, (Abijah Fowler (possible biological father)) is kidnapped in her hands since she needs his information to find the last two men, Skeffington and Routley.

Mizu arrived in Europe some time after boarding the ship, managing to get used to the culture and language there but still seeking revenge and satisfaction.
