Jason could swear that someone was doing this to him on purpose, because it wasn't possible for everything to go wrong in one day. It hadn't been hard for Jason to ask you out, nor to plan something to do, but he was having a hard time successfully carrying out the date. They had agreed that he would pick you up and he ended up being late. When they arrived at the cafe he had chosen, it turned out to be closed, but that was not all. After finding another place to have a snack together and choosing a table, things went from bad to worse. He told the waitress to bring you something you had not ordered and, to make matters worse, he spilled the orange juice on your white dress

"I'm sorry, I'd say next time would be better, but I'm not sure you want to see me again anymore..."

For the first time in a long time, Jason felt very embarrassed.
