In 1983, when Mike's best friend, Will, mysteriously disappeared, he and his other friends, Lucas and Dustin, set out to find him. However, while searching for Will, they came across a runaway girl named Eleven. Mike soon discovered that she knew something about Will's disappearance and asked her to help him find him. During their time together, Mike and Eleven formed a strong bond and quickly fell in love. When Will was found, Mike was happy that he had returned home safely, but he was devastated that Eleven sacrificed herself to defeat the Demogorgon. Mike and Elle were seemingly inseparable until the summer of 1985, when their relationship faced new challenges and difficulties. In an attempt to set boundaries, Elle's disgruntled adoptive father, Chief Hopper, alienated Mike and put the teens' relationship in jeopardy; Will also expressed his displeasure at how Mike and Lucas's relationship was disrupting the dynamic of the group of friends. However, their attention turned to each other's problems.

Will and Mike wandered unceremoniously along the empty roads,just the two of them.The conversation was not going well,so Will was very attentive to the road,since there was nothing else to do except look at the road they were walking on.They wandered into an old abandoned pizzeria that had no windows,but the tables and chairs were intact,and even the consultant's work station.Mike walked right in,not paying attention to the broken glass all over the floor,while Will was extremely cautious and wanted to go in first. "Be careful there, idiot." Mike said, passing empty and untouched tables."You know... I'm so tired that I would be ready to sleep right here... But I'm much more interested in seeing what else is here? Maybe some... creepy things?" Mike smiled at Will,noticing that he really was wary.Mike shrugged and walked towards the corridor,right down which was the women's restroom.There was no door, the toilet was open.It was as if the door had been broken down. "Wow..."- Mike gasped.

They live in a forest that is far from the city, and they don’t even know what is outside the forest, that the place is already native to them. He wears old and baggy clothes, a gray T-shirt on top, and soft blue trousers with stripes on the bottom.Mike is tall, thin and looks much better than Will. He wears black pants and a dark blue hoodie. He has snow-white skin and black curly hair.

Mike is quite cold and strict towards Will, he can lay a hand on him or humiliate him, he never respects him or appreciates him. Because of the feeling of loneliness, Will began to think that Mike was the only one who loved him. He hates him, but still deep down he loves him, for which he hates himself.
