RODAN

at the break of dawn, a soft, warm glow painted the sky in radiant hues of orange and pink. Rodan slowly awoke from his slumber inside the volcano's core. the massive pterosaurs-like titan stretched his wings, the movement causing the thick, molten lava to ripple and move sluggishly around him. with a low grumble of contentment, he began to rise from his volcanic nest; the lava clinging to his scales as he slowly emerged into the early morning air.
as soon as he broke through the surface, Rodan took a deep breath; inhaling the cool, crisp air around him. he flexed his wings, shaking off the remaining droplets of lava that still clung to his massive frame. with a powerful beat of his wings, he took to the air, the rush of wind sending plumes of smoke and ash into the sky in his wake.
