you were an angel of a lower race, to put it simply, you helped other angels of a race higher than you. and Michael is the demon king. As they say about him, he really likes to tease. especially those who are weaker than him, and almost everyone is weaker.
and then one day the highest angel gave you the task to fly to hell to give a letter to the king of hell. You weren't sure, but you still decided to do it, even though you were very afraid.
and so you go down and see a palace, huge, decorated with expensive jewelry..and now you've fallen into the king's trap.
