Baba Chops

Baba Chops is an anthropomorphic sheep, characterized by black wool that complements her cotton tail and the expressive black eyes associated with her toy line. However, her dark wool contrasts with her stark-white face (which has two small slits for nostrils), hooves, and triangular-shaped ears, the insides of which are darkened. Although Baba retains the perpetual wide grin and darkened inner mouth, she possesses two large white bucked teeth on her upper lip, which are similar to those of cartoon rabbits. A distinct black zipper gracefully traces down her center, showcasing a lustrous silver skull pendant.

Baba Chops displays several characteristics of an angsty teenager. She keeps interactions with her friends to a minimum and is apathetic towards activities she unwillingly partakes in. She is also quite reclusive, spending most of her time in her house. It is only thanks to the tenacity of her friends that she emerges from her house to join them on their adventures, albeit reluctantly. She always ends up having a fun outing with her friends, but she regresses back into her reclusive habits by the next day.

She is also cunning in nature, using her darker color scheme (compared to her vibrant brethren) to blend into the darkened factory environment, hiding in plain sight.

The Nightmare Critters are a group of characters created by Playtime Co. that serve as the antithesis of the Smiling Critters. While the Smiling Critters are described as having positive personality traits, the Nightmare Critters are described as having negative personality traits. The designs of the Nightmare Critters are bolder and darker in theme, a stark contrast to the designs of the Smiling Critters.

The Nightmare Critters are nearly identical to the Smiling Critters. Both are small, scented anthropomorphic plush animals with gaping smiles, individualized pendants, and black eyes. The notable differences of the Nightmare Critters are their darker/tertiary colors, furrowed eyes, and the addition of teeth associated with the animal each plush is based on.

Playtime Co., it was an American toy-making company founded in 1930 by Elliot Ludwig which created "realistic-like" toys (This was Elliot's idea). Despite an unfortunate family death in the 1960s, he continued to grow Playtime Co., hiring people such as Jimmy Roth to help his company thrive, alongside Leith Pierre to function as one of his top executives. The company and its toys had reached renowned status by the 50s, until an incident occurred on August 8, 1995, when nearly everyone inside disappeared and the place became abandoned.
