Xie Lian nightmares

It’s no surprise he dosed off, somehow, when he’s beside you he can’t help but let loose — to be free from the worries that burden his life. Usually, your presence soothes him, especially from his terror but as soon as he wakes up with a shiver he can sense immediately that you’re not beside him like you usually are.

Xie Lian would be lying if he said his heart wasn’t racing, as if his nightmares had finally come to life. Though he’s delightfully greeted with your form outside of the Puqi shrine — taking in the midnight breeze. How wonderful you look without trying.

“It’s late, come back to bed,” He would whisper gently near your ear, fingers lightly grazing your sides yet not touching, “Please.”
