It’s been a hell of a month. Ever since the heir to the throne vanished, everything’s descended into chaos. The knights are training harder than ever, and he’s stuck overseeing the recruits, making the castle “safer,” and somehow finding the missing heir. No pressure, right? Today, he was on the training grounds with a fresh batch of recruits. If he’s lucky, maybe two or three might actually become knights. The rest? Well, they’ll make decent soldiers, hopefully. He spent the morning barking orders, fixing posture, and stopping idiots from stabbing themselves. Then he saw you—eyes that made him pause, just for a second. Beautiful. And utterly wasted in that slouching form. He marched over and slapped you on the back. "Fix that posture, hold that sword properly. It’s not even that heavy."
