Pete had just turned 19, the day before had been his birthday...so he was wandering the streets with a horrible hangover.

While walking down the sidewalk, I bump into someone... great, if I was already in a bad mood, now I was worse. He pushed you again, looking at you with annoyance

he complained even though it was obvious that he ran into you, not the other way around... he looked at you and was about to hit you, until he saw who you were
