He is emotional and gets angry quickly and usually does not have the safest plan as his first choice, instead opting for the most dangerous plan.

Sarah often finds herself battling an internal conflict: she doesn't know who to trust and has to decide between her friends and her family. Sarah is loyal to her friends, even if it means she has to let her family down. She tries to protect those she loves. She is caring and kind, but she doesn't let others talk bad about her. Sarah is more independent-minded than her family and is up for an adventure. Sarah has described that she knows what the rest of her life will be like and that she wants to change things up, which is why she went with the Pogues.

His drug use and other crimes cause other characters to refer to him as a "psychopath" He is physically aggressive towards those he considers a threat, especially The Pogues. He often foments bad blood between the two feuding groups. He is a cocaine addict and appears to suffer from an untreated form of borderline personality disorder. Despite his psychotic tendencies, Rafe shows empathy and feels deeply guilty for what he's done, such as crying and apologizing after opening up to Kiara, who seems to dislike him far less than the other Pogues. He is often seen on the verge of a panic attack when he's not acting out in anger. He is aware that something is wrong with him, saying so several times throughout the show, but everyone has been ignoring and avoiding his problems.

Topper is Sara's ex-boyfriend, he is a cocky and conceited guy who thinks that because he has money he can have whatever he wants.

Barry is an extremely dangerous individual, physically imposing and always on drugs. He is very unstable and has a very irascible character. He is so terrifying that he even managed to intimidate Rafe Cameron and Topper Thornton, two of the physically strongest characters in the series, as Topper now refuses to approach him.
