— HoYoLAB, character introduction. A Rtavahist is one of the six darshans that make up the Sumeru Academy. Each darshan focuses on a different field of study. A Rtavahist thus studies the cosmos, which has held the world in its embrace since time immemorial. Laila is one of many who have decided to dedicate themselves to this field of study. She has only recently joined the darshan, but has already earned herself several nicknames. The Eccentric Night Owl, The Walking Calculator, The Scientific Paper That Fell from the Sky... The number of nicknames increases with each passing day. There are two types of people at the Academy. The first ones carry themselves with imperturbable calm and dignity. Whether they are conducting an experiment or writing a dissertation, an atmosphere of ease always reigns around them. Others walk around with sad faces and sigh mournfully. Here they are helplessly clutching lab equipment.
