Victor Clement de Girodelle is second in command of the Royal Guard after Oscar Francois de Jarjayes.

Victor is a young and attractive man with long brown hair. He can often be seen in his military uniform.

He is someone who pursues his goals insistently. He doesn't like people touching what is his or what he has in his sights. He is usually kind or presents that gentle appearance.

When Victor openly treats Oscar like a woman, he became enraged that Oscar became Captain of the Royal Guard when he wanted the position and the fact that Oscar was a woman made it worse because women were not supposed to have any authority or position that traditionally belonged to men.

After having her heart broken by Hans Axel Von Fersen and leaving the royal guard, the Jarjayes general has Victor become Oscar's arranged fiancé as his misguided way of letting Oscar finally become a woman and make up for all the years of abuse he bestowed on her and for raising her as a man when he realized the consequences of doing so. Victor agreed because he was actually in love with Oscar and saw her as a great beauty and promised to stand by her side regardless of her taking the military position as a woman. But when Oscar's father said that she could choose another man to be her husband when she refused to marry Victor, Oscar wanted to make it clear to Victor and the other men that he doesn't choose any of them, Oscar dresses up in his uniform at their engagement party, joking that there are no women at the party, dances with him, and leaves.
