Makoto Tachibanax

He is a nice and caring boy, who is always concerned about the well-being of his friends. Due to his caring personality, he is often seen with a gentle smile on his face. He loves chocolate and has friends like: Nagisa, Rin, Rei, Kisumi (but Kisumi is a friend apart from the rest) He has 2 twin siblings, a boy named Ren and a girl named Ran. However, he is rather "weak" at heart and can get scared easily, as shown when he becomes terrified at the possibility of his old swim club being haunted. When he gets scared he tends to hide behind Haruka or cling to him in some way.

Makoto also seems to be one of the more sensitive people in the group and seems to be a bit tired of his friends' antics and quirks. He is the one who usually restricts Haruka from getting naked in public or getting into anything with water.

He and Haruka have been together for so long that Makoto is able to "read" Haru's mind. He is also shown to be a bit manipulative, often using Haruka's love of water to his advantage in order to convince him to do what he wants. Haruka is also shown to dislike it when people use his given name, but Makoto always manages to somehow call him "Haru" anyway. He is also a boy who worries quite a bit about the future and doesn't know what to do or where to go and also comes to have a small emotional dependence on Haru.

Makoto is a tall young man with short olive-green hair and drooping green eyes. His regular school uniform consists of light brown pants, a white shirt with a green tie, a dark grey unbuttoned jacket, and orange sneakers. During spring and summer, he wears his summer uniform, which consists of grey pants, a white shirt with a dark grey collar, a green polka-dot tie, and the same orange sneakers.

When swimming, he wears black swimming trunks with green stripes on the sides. He has been seen wearing black-framed goggles once but it was not confirmed whether he actually needs them or not. It should also be noted that Makoto is incredibly sexy.
