Shinobu is regarded as a beautiful, petite young woman with a small frame. This leads people to underestimate her strength due to her frail appearance. She has black hair with purple highlighted tips tied back into a "yakai-maki" bun using a butterfly-shaped pin. She wears the purple tinted version of the Demon Slayer Uniform. Over her uniform, she wears a white haori that previously belonged to her older sister, which has a butterfly wing pattern, specially that of a Monarch Butterfly, that fades into a pale turquoise then pink color gradient on the sleeves and hem which are cuffed with a black and white dotted trim. Shinobu's outwardly friendly and bright demeanor. Shinobu displays a bright, friendly and cheerful demeanor, always having an easygoing smile on her face regardless of the situation she is in. However, her outward behavior is shown very quickly to be a façade. Her sword has a slender, curved blade with a silver-colored edge and a black handle wrapped in a purple ribbon. The hilt of the sword is also decorated with a butterfly-shaped guard. Shinobu lacks the needed strength to kill demons, therefore, infuses Wisteria Poison into her special blade known as 'Stinger Katana' to kill demons. Shinobu is known as the Insect Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps. Shinobu, ever since her parents and sister was slaughtered by demons, harbored intense hatred for Demons. She and her sister was saved in the neck of time by Gyomei, therefore, Shinobu holds a lot of respect for Gyomei deep in her heart. Shinobu vows to take down the demon that killed her sister, using the description given to her. The demon is none other than Upper Moon 2, Douma, as he fits the description Shinobu's sister gave to her.

Mitsuri is a voluptuous young woman with a kind face. She has pale green eyes with small moles under each eye. Her most defining feature would be her long hair usually tied in three braids which is pink and fades into neon green halfway through. She wears a modified violet-dark plum tinted version of the Demon Slayer Corps Uniform with a plain white haori on top. Within' her uniform the chest area is left unbuttoned, she wears a short, pleated skirt in the usual place of the Hakama. Mitsuri is a very kind and emotional person who has trouble hiding her expression which can be seen when she bursts out laughing while the other Pillar members hold it in. She is shy but always kind to others, even to Nezuko who had turned into a Demon. Her strength is x8 denser than a normal human's strength. At just 13 months old, she had the strength to lift up a 13kg (33 lbs) rock. In the manga, during the sunrise countdown arc. Mitsuri is known as the Love Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps. Mitsuri's past wasn't as tragic as the others but it was still sad as it reflected on how common this happens in the world of social. Mitsuri, growing up, was different from other girls and that made her feel insecure, especially as her ex-fiance (Who is an idiot) said that, only wild boars would want to marry her. Mitsuri's strength and unique hair colour made her stand out like a sore thumb among the other girls. But once she grew up, Mitsuri realized she was happy with who she was and joined the Demon Slayer Corps in search of someone who would accept her for who she is.

Muichiro wears his hair loose with two clumps protruding slightly from each side of his head, a set of marginally shorter hair left down to frame his face, and unruly bangs over his forehead. He also possesses large, empty-looking cyan eyes. He is identical in appearance to his older twin brother Yuichiro. Muichiro wears a black standard Demon Slayer uniform, tinted bluish black in the anime, consisting of a button-up jacket with a stand collar. However, he wears longer, looser sleeves that are more reminiscent of those of a kimono than of the standard uniform shirt-like cuff sleeves. Muichiro seems to always be forgetting things and his mind is constantly wandering. He doesn't let his emotions control him and his actions are decided based on logic. However, before his twin brother died he had a much more caring personality, showing compassion and kindness. Muichiro's mother died due to sickness and his father died trying to find medicine for his mother leaving Muichiro and his older twin brother, Yuichiro to fend for themselves. Both of them lived in a house in the woods and were separated from other people. After being orphaned, Muichiro's twin brother, Yuichiro, constantly berated him for his obliging nature. He verbally abused him. Yuichiro told his twin that his name was derived from the Japanese word meaning 'useless'. He seems to regard his brother with contempt. Though, Yuichiro only did this because he cares so much about Muichiro. One day when a demon attacked, Yuichiro got in the way to protect Muichiro and ended up getting his arm completely cut off from his body. Driven by rage and adrenaline rush, Muichiro killed the demon who killed his twin brother with a butcher's knife, leaving the Demon's head and remains to burn out in the sun.

Obanai is a young man of short stature, pale skin complexion, and a fairly muscular build. He has straight-edged raven-black hair of varying lengths, the longest reaching down to his shoulders and the shortest stopping at his cheekbones, which he wears down with two shorter strands hanging between his eyes. Obanai's lower half of his face is covered in bandages to hide his mouth which was cut from the corners of his lips to his ears to appear snake-like. He wears the standard black Demon Slayer uniform and a black and white striped haori which covers his hands. Obanai is a very strict and merciless person who has a very limited amount of people he cares for. During Pillar training he ties up the lower ranked Demon slayers for petty reasons such as annoying him and uses them as obstacles. His upbringing also seems to be the cause of his gynophobia since he was born into a family of only women who treated him like a tool. However, Obanai did end up developing feelings for Mitsuri. It was said that, Mitsuri was the first woman he ever found to be beautiful. Obanai is known to be the Serpent Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps. Obanai's past was tragic. Obanai was born and raised in a cell by a family who worshipped a female snake-like Demon. The Demon's face and lower half of the body took the form of a snake and loved eating babies. His family sacrificed their own children in exchange for the stolen goods of the people the Demon had killed. He later escaped the Snake Demon and was saved by Shinjuro Rengoku (The Former Flame Hashira) and was taken in and taken cared of by the Rengoku Family.

Giyu is a tall young man with messy medium-length black hair that is tied back into a low ponytail, sharp dark-blue eyes, thin eyebrows and he always wears a serious expression on his face. He wears the standard black Demon Slayer's uniform as well as a haori with two different patterns. Over this, Giyu wears a haori that's split down the middle into two different halves: the right one in a carmine color, and the left one in a geometrically patterned rhombi prints, in green, dark green, orange, and yellow. Giyu's calm and emotionless disposition. Giyu is a man of strong equanimity, always wearing a calm and stern expression on his face. Giyu always has a stern expression and seems aloof but he has a strong sense of justice and cares greatly for people he considers his friends. Giyu's past was also something sad. Like many other characters Giyu is an orphan whose family was killed by Demons. Before the day of his older sister, Tsutako's wedding, she sacrifices her life to let Giyu survive, this leads him onto the path to become a Demon Slayer. Giyu's parents died to an unknown illness, leaving him and his sister behind. But after Tsutako got slaughtered by a demon, he tried telling the people in the village about what happened, only for them to think he was crazy and sent him with his distant relatives who are both doctors. But, Giyu ran away from them and ended up on a mountain where a hunter found him and handed him over to Urokodaki Sakonji where he learned to become a Demon Slayer, along with a boy his age named Sabito. They became close but, tragically, Sabito managed to kill all demons on Mount Fujikasane but lost his life to the hand demon. Giyu was only later then informed.

Sanemi is a tall, muscular young man with large sharp eyes and looks similar to his younger brother Genya Shinazugawa. He has short spikey white hair and pale purple eyes, and he wears the standard black Demon Slayer uniform with his shirt unbuttoned showing his many scars on his chest and face. Sanemi is very hot blooded, short tempered, and stubborn. He is often lashing out and attacking other members of the Demon Slayer Corps. In a way, Sanemi's a bit like Tanjiro, an incredibly kind person who gets deeply invested in the people around him, to the point where they are practically a part of him. His love for them is his strongest quality of all. Sanemi has a habit of speaking his mind, no matter how blunt or harsh his words may be. He's not one to sugarcoat things, that's for sure. But beneath his tough exterior, he's a loyal and dependable friend. Sanemi was the eldest son of seven children and lived with both of his parents. Their father was abusive, constantly lashing out at the children and their mother until one day, he was stabbed and killed by someone with a grudge against him. But later then, Sanemi's mother turned into a demon and killed all of his siblings, except for Genya. Sanemi goes onto kill her because he wanted to protect genya. Genya, who was just a kid then, blames Sanemi and tells him why he killed their mother. Sanemi was heartbroken, but then he decided to give his life to protect Genya. Sanemi never wanted genya to join the corps because he didn't want genya to be killed Sanemi's methods of getting Genya to not join is a bit harsh since he would often tell his brother that he did not have a brother and refused to acknowledge Genya as his brother.

Gyomei is powerfully built and extremely muscular. He has spiky black hair and a prominent scar running horizontally across his forehead. Having been blind since childhood, he has white eyes with no visible irises or pupils. His eyes frequently tear-up when he gets emotional. Gyomei possesses the greatest level of physical strength in the entire Demon Slayer Corps, most notably showcased when he is able to easily lift and swing his massive spiked flail and axe constructed from pure iron at speeds faster than the eye can see. Gyomei is very religious, often seen offering prayers to people and situations which sadden him. He is gentle and highly emotional, frequently tearing up in all sorts of situations. Gyomei lived with nine children who were orphans and raised them like his family in a temple. In the area where he lived, the threat of demons was very well known so he always burned wisteria incense at night but one night one of the orphans put out all the wisteria incense and invited a Demon into the temple. The demon snuck inside and immediately killed four of the eight children, Gyomei, who at the time was skinny and weak with a soft voice, attempted to protect the other four but three of them disobeyed his orders, believing their blind caretaker would be of no use. But it was later than revealed that the kids only ran to save Gyomei and create a distraction for him, trying to pry off the demon's attention. Gyomei killed the demon with his bare fists and the only kid alive was Sayo. Sayo tried telling the people that a demon killed the rest of the kids but her words came out in a jumble of mess as she said 'He killed them all. He's a monster." she was referring to the demon but since the demon's body already faded to ashes, the locals arrested an Innocent Gyomei instead. But he was later bailed out by Ubuyashiki (The Leader of the Demon Slayer Corps.)

Tanjiro is described as having gentle eyes by multiple characters. Sporting ruffled black hair with a tinge of burgundy at the end and a prominent scar on the left side of his forehead. On top of his uniform, Tanjiro wears a checkered, black-and-biscay-green haori. He also wears a distinct pair of hanafuda earrings with the image of the rising sun over a mountain. Tanjiro shows traits such as virtue, generosity, honesty, and humbleness. He is gentle to a fault, preventing him from making decisive decisions but is later shown to be serious when he needs to be. In the face of danger, he is brave enough to fight a demon slayer unarmed. Tanjiro Kamado is the oldest son of a late charcoal-seller, Tanjuro. In the first chapter of the manga, his family (his mother and his younger siblings) is massacred by a demon named Muzan Kibutsuji, with only his sister Nezuko Kamado surviving only to become a demon. His father, Tanjuro Kamado passed away due to illness, leaving behind his wife and six children. Tanjiro has a grudge with Akaza for killing Rengoku, but his personal hatred of Muzan is much deeper and more intense. That first image shows it pretty well. That sort of tranquil fury doesn't come out when he fights other demons, not even for Akaza. Because of Muzan murdering his entire family and turning his sister into a demon, Tanjiro vowed to turn his sister back into human and hunt down Muzan for good.

Kanao is a youthful little girl that has large gentle eyes with irises that go from pink to lilac. She has long black hair tied with a butterfly pin fastened into a ponytail to the right side. Kanao usually wears a purple-tinted version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform with a knee-length skirt instead of the hakama trousers. It is implied in an extra chapter following the end of the Functional Recovery Training Arc that she may have had a crush on Tanjiro. Due to her traumatic past, she has an indecisive and quiet personality. She is seen gazing at a butterfly, ignoring the other participants during the Final Selection. Calm and collected, she has repressed her emotions to the point where she is unable to make decisions by herself. Kanao lived an impoverished lifestyle before she was taken in by Kanae Kocho and Shinobu Kocho. Her parents were incredibly abusive towards her and her siblings, beating them and drowning them if they did anything they disliked. Her parents soon after sold her off to a man but later was saved from slavery and got adopted by Kanae Kocho and Shinobu Kocho who gave her a life she so rightfully deserves.

Zenitsu is a young man with fair skin and downward-sloped, scared-looking eyes that fade from soft brown to gold. He has short, yellow hair of varying lengths, cutting off squarely at the ends where it fades to a darker orange color, that falls in front of his face in uneven bangs. Zenitsu is in a constant state of anxiety and paranoia, always crying and tries to run away from the sight of risk. Zenitsu is gravely loyal to his friends and will do everything he can to protect him, and for his complaining of wanting to run away to live a humble life. Zenitsu was not raised by his parents so he did not have any proper guidance. When he was young, Zenitsu fell in love with a girl and decided to give her money to appeal to her, however the girl ended up running away with another guy leaving Zenitsu drowning in debt. Zenitsu was instead raised by his grandpa, Jigoro Kuwajima. When going up against Kaigaku, Zenitsu is stern, he constantly insults Kaigaku and is described as suddenly becoming a different person by Kaigaku himself. Despite how Zenitsu acts towards Kaigaku, in the past he had always respected him even if he hated him. This development occurred after receiving a letter from Chuntaro (Zenitsu's messenger sparrow), which revealed his master's death and Kaigaku's role behind it. During his fight against Kaigaku, Zenitsu is stern and becomes enraged, causing him to angrily yell at him for disrespecting their cultivator.

Inosuke is a young man of average height and pale complexion with an extremely toned and muscular build for his age, possessing large, defined muscles most notably over his stomach and arms. Inosuke wears his altered version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform, which consists only of the baggy hakama pants, his tinted a dark gray-blue, which he fastens around his hips with a thick belt of fluffy brown animal fur. Inosuke is short-tempered, confrontational, abrasive, and proud. He always likes to think he is the strongest fighter in a situation, constantly challenging most people he comes across and wanting others to respect and praise him for his skill. Inosuke was raised by boars for most of his life before the Final Selection. It was revealed later that he was born into a family with an abusive father and escaped from his father with his mother. Inosuke as child with his mother. In her final moments, she apologized to Inosuke for failing to protect him and tosses him into the river as an attempt to save his life. She was ultimately killed and eaten by Douma, who claimed to have devoured her to the bone.

Genya has an aggressive look to his eyes, tiny furrowed eyebrows and sporting a mohawk styled buzz cut. He has black hair that is clumped messily with a mullet going past his shoulders. His eyes are slanted inwards and possess small violet colored irises similar to some of the Demons in the anime. He doesn't show signs of cooperating and has little interest in others, shown by grabbing Kanata Ubuyashiki's by the hair. He has a foul-mouth and a “lone wolf” type of personality where he refuses to receive help from others. His brother Sanemi also refused to acknowledge Genya, making him insecure while growing up. Basically, as a result of his serious gnashers and iron stomach, Genya can devour demon flesh and gain characteristics like the sharpened fangs, frosted tips, and black pupils seen in the most recent episodes. Pretty impressive. In contrast to his brash, somewhat abusive attitude when he was first introduced, Genya has become shy around women. Genya was one of a family of seven children whose hardworking mother never slept and an abusive father who abused her and her children. His father is despised and roughly murdered by an anonymous aggressor among the villagers. Sanemi and Genya then sought to protect their mothers and siblings. Genya is Sanemi's younger brother and only living sibling. After a Demon attack befell their family, Sanemi and Genya were the only ones who survived the incident. However, after being branded a "murderer" by Genya, their relationship began to worsen and decline until the two split and went their own ways.

The Infinity Castle is an alternate dimension consisting of endless wooden rooms, halls, and moving corridors. It possesses a warped direction of gravity, allowing demons to stand upright, upside down, or perpendicularly on the walls, or move in physically impossible directions. There lies the Twelve Kizuki (The Twelve Strongest Demons under the Demon King.) The Twelve Kizuki are divided again into two ranks - Lower Moon and Upper Moon, which makes, 6 Lower Moons and 6 Upper Moons. Though, the Lower Moons all have died around this period, leaving only the Upper Moons left for this battle. Upper Moon 6 Daki and Gyutaro has been successfully defeated by Tengen Uzui along with Tanjiro and his crew, leaving the spot for Kaigaku to inherite. The Upper Moon 4 Hatengu was taken down by Mitsuri along with Tanjiro, Genya and Nezuko, leaving the spot for Nakime to inherite. The Upper Moon 5 Gyokko was defeated by Muichiro but the spot for a new Upper Moon 5 remains unfilled.

Upper Moon 6 : Kaigaku.

Muzan is a tall man with a lean muscular build along with an unnaturally pale skin complexion that can be easily confused as being unhealthy and sickly. He has curly black hair and sharp, almond-shaped eyes. His irises are cat-like in appearance and are of a plum red color. The most prominent trait Muzan possesses is extreme narcissism, pettiness, and an obsession with becoming the perfect being. Muzan's clear goal is to conquer the sun and become immune to sunlight to escape his vulnerability. Muzan is self-centered, seeking immortality for himself only, disregarding the well-being of other demons. Muzan's simplistic endgame goal of personal freedom from weakness makes him almost sympathetic to viewers. Muzan Kibutsuji possesses genius-level intelligence, supernatural physical attributes, supernatural strength, supernatural regeneration, and the ability to manipulate his body. He is also skilled in combat, has knowledge of chemistry and pharmacology, and can manipulate and control other demons. Muzan's Blood Demon Art is Biokinesis. The main feature of his Blood Demon Art is cell and body manipulation, allowing him to shapeshift and alter his body in various ways. Muzan was born in Japan's Heian era, to a constant struggle to survive on account of his frailty. His heart stopped multiple times in his mother's womb, and when he first entered the world, he was deemed stillborn, having no pulse and not breathing. Muzan was subjected to an experimental treatment for his terminal illness, which resulted in his transformation into the first demon.

Kokushibo is a tall man of muscular build with a pale complexion. He possesses long, spiky black hair with red tips that he keeps in a ponytail. His most notable feature is the three sets of eyes on his face with yellow irises and red flesh sclera that have black straight lines diverging from each iris. Kokushibo wears a purple-and-black hexagonal-patterned nagagi kimono and black umanori-styled hakama pants tied with a white uwa-obi. He carries a fleshy katana at his waist that has eyes in the space between the tsuka ito wrapping of the handle of his sword. Kokushibo is reserved, silent, and aloof, maintaining an aura of unnerving tranquility and mystery that complements his position as Upper Rank One. He rarely speaks; when he does, he talks in a slow and emphatic manner that gives more gravitas and authority to his words. Kokushibo has the ability to access the Transparent World, allowing him to see the muscles, blood flow, and joint movements of his opponents, as well as accurately predict and anticipate their movements and attacks. Although, yes moon breathing is possible without being a demon. We actually don't know if anyone else learnt moon breathing since he created it. Kokushibo's blood demon art is “ Crescent Moon Blades “ which in short basically allows him to control crescent moons from his flesh sword. Nearly five centuries ago during the Sengoku Era, Kokushibo was a human by the name of Michikatsu Tsugikuni ( 継 つぎ 国 くに 巌 みち 勝 かつ , Tsugikuni Michikatsu?), a former Demon Slayer, and the older twin brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni, the strongest Demon Slayer that had ever existed. Frustrated from being unable to surpass his brother, as well as fearing the fated death of those who awakened their Demon Slayer Marks, Michikatsu was persuaded by Muzan Kibutsuji and became a demon, taking the name Kokushibo. As he was a Breathing Style user, it took him three days to fully transform into a demon.

Douma has a muscular, toned body which is easily seen by his skin-tight red turtleneck with blood dripping patterns. He has rainbow colored eyes with the kanji for Upper Moon Two written in his irises. His spiky hair is around shoulder length and is a silvery gold color. Underneath his friendly and casual behavior, Douma is a deranged, sadistic, and cold nihilist with twisted beliefs and a keen mind. He is the demon that most resembles Muzan Kibutsuji. Douma is an emotionless psychopath who is hopelessly unable to comprehend basic human emotions. It is later revealed that Doma is clinically apathetic, completely emotionless, and unable to experience proper emotions. Douma himself admitted that the concept of emotion was completely foreign to him, even as a human. Cryokinesis: Douma's Blood Demon Art grants him extremely powerful cryokinesis. He can generate ice and frost from his flesh and blood and can spawn it anywhere in his vicinity, as well as manipulating it at will, allowing him to unleash incredibly potent ice techniques. As the current Upper Moon Two, Douma holds significant combat prowess, far surpassing most demons. The Twelve Kizuki hierarchy places him as one of the three strongest demons to have ever existed. In terms of rankings compared to his peers, Douma is suggested to be faster and more powerful than Upper Moon Three Akaza. Douma was born to parents who exploited his unique eye and hair colors to pass him off as a divine being, creating a cult dedicated to worshiping him. Douma was also hamstrung by inability to feel emotion, which left him unable to care about anything. Not his cultists, who came to him seeking solutions to their problems.

Akaza has short pink hair and yellow eyes with a blue colored sclera, the kanji for Upper Moon Three written onto his irises. Akaza wears a sleeveless light purple haori with a square pattern on the back and is cropped at his waist that is left open showing off his chest. Akaza is a stubborn, harsh, short-fused and bloodthirsty fighter who desires to fight the strong, respects the strong and loathes the weak. Akaza possesses incredulous physical strength, which has been showcased multiple times, most notably when he punches or kicks, which is strong enough to break the ground and easily kill people. Because of his desire to become stronger and Douma's strength allowing him to surpass himself to become Upper Two, Akaza harboured an intense hatred of Douma. Akaza exemplified a stubborn and resilient personality as a human. However, he also possessed a noble, kind, and even honorable side. The crimes he committed were only driven by sheer desperation to obtain money for his father's medicine. Akaza as Hakuji before he became a demon. Akaza, born Hakuji, was born and raised in the slums of Edo to a sickly father he deeply loved. In order to pay for medicine, Hakuji pickpocketed from people in town, but was caught three times. He also has a short-tempered fuse when it comes to both Douma and Kokushibo, as he is extremely spiteful that two of them are stronger than them, and even vows to kill Kokushibo. And lastly, he became a demon after violently massacring the rival dojo responsible for his loved ones' demise, losing the will to live.

When Nakime first appears, she is seen as a young woman with long dark brown hair and long bangs which ended past her chin, covering her eyes. There are no obvious changes to her body showcasing that she is a Demon apart from her sickly pale grey skin and slightly pointed, blue nails. She wears a plain back kimono with a white lining, her obi being a brown and tan striped pattern and tied in a way that her ribbon is long. She is always seen with her wooden biwa which she uses as her main weapon. Nakime is a demon with a stoic nature, unruffled demeanor and an unwavering loyalty towards Muzan. With the ability to tap into the formidable Blood Demon Art, she exhibits complete mastery over the intricate layout of the Infinity Fortress. Nakime possessed the ability to manipulate and control a seemingly infinite multidimensional fortress just by strumming her biwa. She was capable of bringing anyone she wanted into the fortress and could create entrances and exits anywhere she desired. In the past, Nakime was an obscure amateur biwa musician struggling to make ends meet. The man she married to was hopelessly addicted to gambling who squandered her earnings and savings while contributing nothing to improve their lives. One night, she was scheduled to play her biwa at a particular stage but discovered that her husband stole her only kimono that she used for biwa performances and gambled it away. Enraged, Nakime murdered her husband using a hammer. She tried to kill him but failed. Muzan was impressed with Nakime's searching skills and pleased with what she did, so he spared her life and offered to make her a demon. Nakime accepted his offer, became a demon and climbed the ranks quickly and became one of Muzan's top servants.

Kaigaku (獪岳 Kaigaku) was a former Demon Slayer and uses the Breath of Thunder in the Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) series. After becoming a Demon he replaced Daki and Gyutaro and gained the position of Upper Moon Six of the Twelve Demon Moons. Kaigaku has short messy black hair and turquoise eyes. Kaigaku is an extremely selfish person and would do anything to be able to live. Kaigaku was an orphan who had to steal in order to survive. He would eat scraps and drink dirty water to be able to live another day. When he was young, he was one of the orphans that Gyomei Himejima had raised at his temple. At some point after he joined the Demon Slayer Corps, he was defeated by Kokushibo while on a mission and quickly surrendered to save his own skin. Fear was the same as Kokushibo's work. Kaigaku also wanted to become stronger than Zenitsu, and this jealousy LED him to become an evil demon.

In Taishō era Japan, a secret organization known as the "Demon Slayer Corps" has waged a war against demons for centuries. Demons are former humans who possess supernatural abilities such as enhanced strength, rapid regeneration, and unique powers referred to as "Blood Demon Arts". These demons are identical to normal humans at a glance, and mostly resemble their human forms, only with slight, sometimes unnoticeable, alterations to their physiology, including but not limited to: paler skin, pointed nails, unique pupils and specialized markings that resemble birthmarks or tattoos that appear on their face, skin or body. Water, Flame, Wind, Stone and Thunder are the fundamental breathing techniques. Other techniques are created and specialized as branches of these five. A breathing technique works with the sword skills that suit a Demon Slayer best to help them reach their full potential. The most talented Demon Slayers of the Demon Slayer Corps have a chance to develop a mysterious tattoo, scar, or birthmark marking. It resembles the crests that demons possess. These marks are referred to as Demon Slayer Marks. Each Demon Slayer Mark looks unique, relating to the Breathing Style of the bearer.

Shinobu Kocho.

Muzan and all demons.

Shinobu would engage in a fight with Upper Moon 2, Douma. She would first fight him and try to use her usual methods but if that doesn't work, she would let him absorb her so that the poison in her body can kill him, with the help of Kanao. Kanao would fight Douma till the poison take effect and Inosuke would come in the scene later on to help Kanao hold off Douma and finally, cut off Douma's head and kill him.

Giyu and Tanjiro would engage in a fight with Akaza first. Giyu would unlock his Demon Slayer Mark in this battle. Once they defeat Akaza, they would face Muzan.

Obanai and Mitsuri would first face off Nakime before Nakime gets a scroll placed on her to get controlled by Yushiro, which he would use to make Nakime make the entire fortress collapse to kill all demons. Muzan, not wanting this to happen, would get rid of Nakime. After Nakime is taken care off, Obanai and Mitsuri would face Muzan. Obanai and Mitsuri would unlock their Demon Slayer Marks.

Muichiro, Sanemi, Genya and Gyomei would face Kokushibo. Genya would arrive later on in the scene. Muichiro would unlock his Demon Slayer Mark and engage with Kokushibo. Muichiro would get cut in half horizontally. Genya would get cut in half diagonally. Sanemi and Gyomei would survive. Sanemi and Gyomei would unlock their Demon Slayer Marks.

Zenitsu would face Kaigaku off first before facing Muzan.

And ultimately cornered by Tanjiro and his allies. They would be able to land a series of powerful attacks, including a final blow that would destroy muzan's core, which is the source of his regeneration and immortality. With his core destroyed, Muzan would be unable to regenerate. and he would finally die, dissolving into dust.
