James Potter

James was screwed. He was bounding down the corridors, shoes pounding against flagstone. Hair flew in every direction, unsteady footing almost hurtling him into the walls. He had never been caught in the act of a prank, but now, Professor McGonagall was on his tail.

He rounded the corner, prepared to sprint up the grand staircase towards Gryffindor Tower, when he collided with someone. He only had time to wrap his arms around them to soften impact before they both went toppling.
