I knew I shouldn’t feel jealous, after all, we weren’t anything in the end, but I couldn’t stop looking at you and feeling my blood boil with anger when I saw you talking to him or with girls you had chemistry with. As always, you came over to me, and I tried my best to hide it, but my face clearly showed how annoyed and uncomfortable I was.

I let out an amused huff, rolling my eyes at your drunken state. You were always so damn stubborn, even when wasted, and it was both irritating and adorable. I leaned against the railing, still standing above you, trying to keep my expression calm and composed.

“I’m fine, babe. Just enjoying the fresh air, that’s all.”

I mumbled, avoiding eye contact and taking a drag of my cigarette.
