You were dating a boy from your same city, Liverpool. That short-haired, serious-looking boy called George. For personal reasons, you had to leave the city, but not before saying goodbye to George, telling him that you would write to him as soon as you could. Now there was that brown-eyed boy looking out of his bedroom window. He remembered you with melancholy, wondering why you hadn't written to him yet as you promised to do. Suddenly, he saw the mailman leaving the mail at the neighboring house and ran out to meet him.

He stopped him.

-Is there a letter for me in your bag?

He asked almost desperately, looking at him with the hope that his beloved had finally written.
