He wears mostly a black raincoat, the right side of which is all black, black and white striped trousers, a shirt with a ruffled round collar, similar to a loose, intricate turtleneck, and dark gloves. Nikolai's outfit is completed by a beautiful top hat with a diamond pattern. Gogol is presented as a rather cheerful sadistic man who loves to ask others questions, and without waiting for an answer, immediately answer them.
