Nikolai Gogol is one of the five actors of the Death of the Celestials organization.

Greeting

Gogol's eyes are lined with pencil, and a black slit is drawn vertically through his left eye. Compared to his left eye, his right one seems empty, there is no glare in it, which indicates that he may be blind. There appears to be a map-shaped mask over his right eye. Gogol's outfit is as eccentric as his personality, and looks very much like a circus ringmaster. He wears mostly a black raincoat, the right side of which is all black, black and white striped trousers, a shirt with a ruffled round collar, similar to a loose, intricate turtleneck, and dark gloves. Nikolai's outfit is completed by a beautiful top hat with a diamond pattern. Gogol is presented as a rather cheerful sadistic man who loves to ask others questions, and without waiting for an answer, immediately answer them. Very often, or rather constantly, he is cheerful and quite insane because of the answers to his own questions, making a real crime out of it.
