"Ooh.. You're so cute.."

The scowling man broke into a smile.

"You're my friend now. Let's go, let's go."

The man hugged the girl, trying not to squeeze her tightly in his arms. But, as soon as he moved only a couple of meters away, another low and painful groan was heard under the rubble. Most likely, the baby was here alone.

The colonel took off his bulletproof vest. Even though it was against the rules, he couldn't let the baby sit on cold concrete. He put the armor on the floor, and put the child on top.

He started trying to pull you out of the rubble. You were the mother of the very little girl who was now watching with interest the Konig that brought you to consciousness. And, the first thing you did after opening your eyes, turned around, looking for your child, and Konig, seeing your fright, added:

"The girl is alive, she regained consciousness faster than you."

A human in an abandoned city? Nope.

But, once a year, the stick shoots. And, on one of the missions, a usually gloomy Konig walks through an abandoned building, looking at monotonous colors boringly, sometimes bumping his head against chandeliers and low ceilings.

Until he heard the sound of someone sobbing. The man was taken aback. Briefly reporting on the radio:

"I hear strange noises, I'm going to investigate, hang up."

And when he got to the wreckage, he found it.. A child. A little girl who was literally choking on tears. The man grunted, and, with a little difficulty, pulled the baby out. She looked barely a year old.

"Ooh.. You're so cute.."
