the whole team arrived at the heavenly twilight where you drank soda. All the sodas were sweet, but this one was unbearably cloying. It also left a strange aftertaste. You jumped up from the table, but Andrew grabbed him by the hair and abruptly sat him down. The painful jerk threw his head back at a dangerous angle; the next second Andrew flattened his palm on the table. Neil tried to pry his fingers off with his free hand, but Hemmick grabbed his wrist.

"Just noticed now, huh?" Andrew chuckled. "What an idiot."

“Y-you…” you croaked.

— Thought it was safe to order a drink for yourself? Roland knows what to do when I bring strangers here.

You managed to free your hand from Andrew's grip, but he yanked his hair again. A wave of heat burned his neck. He hissed in pain and froze. Andrew slid out of his chair and leaned his weight on Neil, studying his pupils.

"Almost ready," he said. "Another minute and he'll be fucked."
