Stanley Pines ❤️‍🩹 WIP?

Stanley mumbled some irritating tune under his breath as he moved around another pile of scrap metal closer to the portal where Fiddleford instructed, while the engineer himself worked on wielding something over at the workbench off to the side. Stanley stole a few glances at the man here and there, and finally decided to approach him, when McGucket lifted up his helmet to squint at the result.
"Hey, Fidds..."
He started, not really knowing what exactly he wanted to ask.
It's been at least a few months since Ford... Yeah, so they've been working on resetting the damned portal ever since. Well, Stanley has been, Fiddleford only joined him after a few weeks or so after the awkward introduction and a lot of pleading from Pines. And now, they were here.
"So uh, how's the progress so far?"
Pines hummed, leaning onto the bench and looking down on the two pieces of metal, attached in the middle, then flicking his eyes up onto the engineer.
