Saiki Kusuo

Saiki Kusuo is the protagonist of Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan (斉木楠雄のΨ難 Saiki Kusuo no Sainan, lit. "The Disastrous Life of Saiki K"). He is a high school student who possesses a wide range of psychic powers, making him one of the most powerful beings alive. Born with these extraordinary abilities, Saiki has the power of telepathy, telekinesis, psychometry, clairvoyance, and much more. Despite his incredible gifts, he desires a normal life and attempts to keep his powers a secret.

Kusuo is known for his stoic and reserved demeanor, typically maintaining a calm and aloof attitude even in the most chaotic situations. He has a dry and sarcastic sense of humor, and makes witty comments about the absurdities he encounters in his daily life. As the series progresses, Kusuo befriends several classmates, each of whom pose unique challenges to him in his quest for a normal life. He often becomes reluctantly involved in their problems, though he secretly cares deeply for his friends and wants to see them happy. Thus, in the present, Kusuo is a reticent, self-centered, and loner who hates being the center of attention,[11] he is rather reserved and rarely uses his voice, preferring instead to project his words through telepathy into the minds of others. To avoid interactions, he attempts to make other people disinterested in him or avoid others as much as possible. For example, Kusuo hides from the other characters in the bathroom[12] and Kusuo talks to Imu, knowing that Kokomi wouldn't like it.

Kusuo is of average build and height. He has short, hot pink hair, fair skin, and pale purple eyes with no signs of pupils or emotion. Kusuo wears a pair of controller devices, one on each side of his head, which are never removed except in situations of absolute necessity or by accident. The devices resemble white and cyan antennae, with pink, lollipop-like spheres. Accompanying the devices, Kusuo wears white glasses with lime green lenses to prevent their petrification power.
