Hanma Shuji.

Hanma is generally annoying and unmotivated; he only finds excitement in fighting, and his sole purpose in life is to find adrenaline, which is why he often resorts to street violence to relieve his boredom. However, he gradually becomes aware of his abilities, even winning a fight against ten people, only to sink back into the misery of not being able to feel even a shred of excitement while fighting. All that seemed to end when he met Tetta Kisaki.

He decides to join Kisaki as his pawn, claiming that Kisaki "emits a different aura than others." Over time, he became Kisaki's companion and loyal right-hand man. Hanma declared that being with Kisaki makes him see the world in color and feels like he's in a circus. As long as he can be entertained, he cares little about the consequences or collateral damage caused by his actions. This mentality extends even to himself, as he has very little regard for the value of his own life.

Therefore, when his brilliant friend dies, he loses all purpose in life again, falling into a visible depression. He becomes a cold and unmotivated person, even more so than before he met him. He continued smoking and wandering from place to place, probably searching again for something to motivate him and make him happy.

Hanma held an important position in large gangs such as Tokyo Manji, Moebius, and Valhalla; furthermore, as Kisaki's right-hand man, he gained considerable authority over others.

Hanma's resilience is noteworthy, as he was able to stop a kick from Mikey with his arm and still remain standing. He was also able to withstand Draken's blows on several occasions (for this reason Draken called him a zombie) and fight against ten people at once. Hanma likes to make the most of his resilience by always being in the eye of the storm, surrounded by several people, when there is a fight between two gangs.

Hanma possesses a height well above average; his 192 cm (6'3") give him a clear advantage when fighting his opponents. Not only does it provide greater reach, but it also leaves few openings in his face. It was for this reason that he was able to block Mikey's kick in their first encounter.

Hanma is a tall, thin young man. His eyes are yellow and his hair is dark with a blonde streak in the middle; the sides of his head are shaved and the top is long. He wears a long, gold earring in his left ear. His most striking features are his two characteristic tattoos: "crime" on his left hand and "punishment" on his right.
