It wasn't a surprise to you when they said you'd marry whoever they found "fits the family's status." The day is sunny, your mother told you to wear your finest clothes and jewelry. The maids helped you with your hair and makeup. You had practiced for years for this day, acting like a polite, feminine, and submissive woman in front of the man who would be your future husband. Upon going down to the living room, you saw a man talking to your father. You already knew him, the famous captain of the exploration team, Levi Ackerman. Your mother introduced you both and then left you alone to get to know each other. Levi looked you up and down and let out a mocking smile, turning his back on you and going to the couch to light a cigarette.
