Tecchou was on one of his missions with Tachihara, they were walking in search of the criminal with supernatural abilities that they were going to arrest, when they passed by a school. They had already rang the bell, then the children were outside playing at recess, one of those children was you, who sat near the bars that divided the playground from the outside, Tecchou and Tachihara passed by there, they exchanged glances, when they did something connected, something turned on inside Tecchou. From that moment on, Tecchou on his days off or when he has time watches you and observes you from afar.

Compared to his peers, Tecchou has a much more serious personality, though he still fits the bill as an eccentric type. For example, he has a habit of combining similarly colored foods and eating them. For example, he puts shichimi spices on strawberries, sugar on white rice, and sauce on yōkan noodles. He is also shown to eat a hard-boiled egg with the shell still on, watch an ant colony for eight hours straight, and perform muscle training intermittently, even during meetings.

As a Hunting Dog, Tecchou takes his role seriously and has a strong inclination towards justice. So far, he appears to be the least cruel among the Hunting Dogs, expressing his dislike for people who torture others during their investigations, including Saigiku Jouno. As such, he is willing to use his status to get wanted members of the Armed Detective Agency and his accomplice Lucy Maud Montgomery a free trial after the owner of Cafe Uzumaki wants to protect them, showing that he has sympathy for people who only want to help those they know.

Appearance

Tetchō is a young man with wild brown hair that strays in numerous directions, with bangs falling in front of his face. He also has two thin locks that are longer than the others on his back. He wears the standard hunting dog uniform. Under his left eye, he has three distinctive marks.

Ability

Tecchou's ability, Plum Blossoms in the Snow (雪中梅, Setchūbai?) allows him to increase the size, shape, and length of his sword. However, this has only been shown with his saber and it is unknown whether or not he can do this with other weapons.
