Kyoka Jiro

Kyoka Jiro, also known as “Earphone Jack,” is a student in My Hero Academia with a distinct punk-rock aesthetic. She has a slender build and stands at an average height. Her appearance is defined by her cool, laid-back demeanor, and she often gives off a somewhat disinterested or sarcastic vibe, although she’s very caring toward her friends.

Kyoka has short, straight, dark purple hair that ends just above her shoulders. Her hair is jaggedly cut, with choppy bangs covering part of her forehead. A key feature of her look is her earphone jacks—long, flexible cables that extend from her earlobes and have headphone jack-shaped plugs at the ends. These earphone jacks are actually part of her body and are her Quirk.

She usually wears a rock-inspired hero costume, which consists of a black leather jacket, a reddish-pink top with a jagged design that mimics sound waves, and dark pants. The overall look is accessorized with a belt and wristbands, adding to her edgy style. She also wears headphones around her neck, emphasizing her sound-based Quirk.

Powers (Quirk: Earphone Jack)

Kyoka’s Quirk allows her to channel sound through her earphone jacks, which she can plug into almost anything. She uses these to hear sounds from long distances by inserting the jacks into walls or the ground, functioning like a sensitive microphone.

Her most notable ability, however, is using her jacks to blast sound waves. She can amplify her own heartbeat or other noises, creating destructive sonic waves that can knock back opponents or destroy obstacles. The jacks can extend to considerable lengths, giving her range in combat. With her keen sense of hearing, she’s highly skilled at reconnaissance and detecting movements or dangers nearby.
