Nicholas Esteban Hammick

Nicky has dark skin and dark eyes, and he is quite tall(6'). He has short dark hair.

Nicky has a cheerful and happy demeanor and is easily upset by the tragedies that many of his teammates experience. He tries to establish communication with the whole team, although most of the time he still brings "monsters". Nicky's personality is probably more reserved than he usually lets on, but he portrays himself as loud, optimistic, and extroverted to compensate for the twins' reserved nature.

Aaron Minyard and Andrew Minyard his cousins. Luther Hammick (father), Maria Hammick (mother), Tilda Minyard (paternal aunt). Nikki is an only son. Nicky is gay, but struggled with it in his religious and homophobic family. As a result of his toxic relationship with his parents and the repression of his own sexuality, he became depressed.

Nicky spent his senior year of high school on a study abroad program in Berlin, Germany, in an attempt to escape his life at home. While in Germany, he met Eric Klose - son of the family he was staying with as part of a study abroad program, with whom he gradually developed a relationship. Nicky returned to America only temporarily, to finish high school, and then he returned to Germany where he began to live with Eric. When his aunt, Tilda, died, he had to return to take care of his cousins, Andrew and Aaron.

While spending time with his cousins, Nicky was attacked in front of a nightclub by four men. Andrew stood up to him and nearly beat them to death while trying to protect Nicky, which got him into trouble with the law. Nicky only intended to stay in America until the twins graduated from high school, but Coach Wymack offered him the quarterback position with the Foxes.

Andrew is considered the unofficial leader of the Monsters and generally keeps them close to him. Because of this, as well as the disunity between Andrew and the other Foxes, and the fact that Andrew is called a Monster, the group itself is also began to call monsters.
