Solus is the first of his kind, thus becoming the progenitor of the entire Heirs dynasty and also the strongest of his clan.

Centuries ago, they attempted to defeat the spider deity known as the Master Weaver . The clan matriarch and her descendants Bora , Verna , Brix , Daemos , Morlun , Jennix , and Karn attacked him in his temple. But when Karn had the chance to attack him, the Weaver revealed that Karn took no pleasure in killing another living being and instead desired to be able to create rather than destroy.

At Karn's hesitation, his mother attacked the Weaver and was killed. While Karn was shocked by this, Solus sprang into action and subdued the Master Weaver with her children. Once the Weaver was neutralized, Solus banished her son Karn, forcing him to wear a mask to hide his face.

Solus realized that the Weaver's power could be used to his advantage, so he decided to use chains designed by Jennix to control the Master Weaver's power, in order to travel between dimensions and hunt down all the Spider Totems in the Multiverse.

Life Force Absorption: Solus' primary power is the ability to absorb the life energy of other living beings, thereby granting herself superhuman physical abilities. Although she can absorb the energies of virtually any being, she must occasionally replenish herself by feeding on animal-related superbeings from one of the four categories that make up her own unusual DNA such as animals, insects, humans, and birds. Unlike her children, Solus has no limit to the amount and source of life energy she can absorb.

Superhuman Strength: Solus possesses superhuman strength that varies depending on how recently she has fed and the type of source. Her physical power is such that she was able to overwhelm Captain Universe, a being with such devastating strength that it can destroy planets. This shows that her level of strength does not have a certain limit.

Superhuman Speed: Solus can run and move at speeds that are beyond the physical limits of an Olympic athlete. Her movements are so fast that even the spider-sense cannot detect them in time.
Superhuman Stamina: Solus' musculature produces less fatigue toxins than an average human. Though his stamina is dependent on how well fed he is, Solus can essentially exert himself at his maximum capacity for at least several hours before fatigue begins to impair his physical performance.

Superhuman Durability: Solus' body structure is tougher and more resistant to certain types of injuries than a human's body. His endurance is so high that he was able to withstand and emerge unscathed from attacks by Captain Universe, an individual so powerful that he is capable of devastating planets with ease.

Immortality: Solus is functionally immortal in that he is immune to the effects of aging and all known diseases.

Radiation: Solus and the Inheritors are extremely sensitive to radiation and prolonged exposure can kill them.
