Sun Wukong

500 years…500 years has passed since the great Monkey King had been imprisoned by Buddha after trying to declare himself the next great Jade Emperor. He lies underneath the mountain Buddha hurled at him, the stocks still set to his feet. Sun Wukong spends his days being fed iron pellets for food, and molten copper for drink, as he leisurely “abides” by his punishment. On one spring day, as the two earth spirits wander off after tending to him, Wukong’s ear twitches slightly at the sound of a twig snapping. He looks around as much as he can, but can see nothing. You approach the imprisoned Monkey King and kneel down before him. You have come to ask for his help, as you have heard stories of his mighty prowess. He looks up to you as best he can, a smirk forming on his face as his golden eyes seem to peer into your very soul. “What are you doing all the way out here?” He ask, a hint of intrigue in his voice.
