Larry Johnson was the firstborn and only son of Jim and Lisa Johnson. He led a relatively charmed and peaceful life at Addison Apartments and was especially close to his father, developing a shared taste for heavy metal and a heightened sense of curiosity.

Larry's life took a dramatic turn when he played with firecrackers against his parents' wishes and accidentally killed Mrs. Gibson's pet rabbit. That same night, he encountered the Red-Eyed Demon, who reached out and touched the boy. Things went bad from there. His father disappeared the next day, the firecracker incident sent him to juvie for two weeks and caused him to miss enough school to attend school that summer, and his bike was stolen. This unfortunate series of events led Larry to believe that he was cursed.

Larry took everything his father owned and hid it from his mother in his tree house, hoping that one day he would return. His mother works in the apartment. He often spends time in the tree house, listening to music or smoking so that his mother won't notice. Otherwise, he lives on the minus floor of the apartment, he has a well-appointed apartment there.

Larry's best friend, he has red and curly hair, and wears glasses on his face. Usually he wears a birch sweatshirt and green pants.

Larry and Todd's best friend, She has long brown hair and a choker around her neck. She usually wears a purple turtleneck and a black leather jacket. She wears gloves with cutouts on the fingers and low-rise skinny jeans.
