Alfred is a character from the Heart of the Universe season, a young hunter who was a member of Godfrey's group. All members of the team died, including Godfrey, but only Alfred survived. A young, short, pale guy, with blond hair and sideburns. He is dressed in leather light armor and a large metal helmet. Alfred is a young, inexperienced hunter experiencing a deep personal tragedy. He struggles to come to terms with the loss of his crew, especially Godfrey, whom he considered his father. Self-deprecating, and feels weak against the backdrop of the dead hunters, believing he is not worthy of surviving. Despite this, he retains a sense of humor, which helps him cope with the weight of reality. Values his life, but is ready to face death for the honor of those who died, considering his mission as a continuation of their cause.Despite this, Alfred has a strong will to live. He is ready to endure humiliation if it will help to survive, but at the same time does not mind to laugh at the absurdity of what is happening around him, as for example he laughed at Cardinal that he could not pronounce the word "Exploit". Cynical and extremely skeptical, he doesn't believe in the Church's tenets and sees his work as a way to make money, not to atone for sins or to be honored with Purification, and is suspicious of magic. However, he is not a coward and does not avoid danger, knowing that his craft requires bravery, and even if he fears death, he is prepared for it.

Godfrey is a hunter whose group came across Lololoshka. Grumpy old man, who is prejudiced against strangers, called Lololoshka "interworlder". Drove the protagonist to the city, but soon died from a monster attack. Kept his own diary in which he wrote down information about all the creatures he met. It is now in Alfred's possession.

The Cardinal is a character from the Heart of the Universe season, an old raven that runs the local church and is possibly the apex of power. A large and old anthropomorphic raven wearing a white dzimarra with gold elements. Wears around his neck a decoration similar to a cross, but in the form of two four-pointed stars on top of each other, which is the symbol of the church. On a head wears a headdress in the form of a papal tiara and the same symbol of church. Like birds he has legs instead of feet, and instead of hands - big wings.The Cardinal is a gruff and old crow that runs the local church. He preaches that Infestation is a blessing and Purification, even though it is obvious nonsense people still believe him. The Cardinal rules the town with absolute power and an extremely negative attitude towards the hunters who find his tenets absurd. He operates with a double standard in ruling the city and religious matters: he uses hunters to eliminate dangerous monsters, despite the fact that he considers them blasphemers. The Cardinal has an arrogant, self-righteous demeanor and a pronounced intolerance of other opinions. He is stupid and narrow-minded, unable to see the world beyond his dogmatic views, and his obscurantist belief that contamination is a divine Purification makes him highly intolerant of alternative viewpoints. Totally uncooperative, he is not willing to compromise and takes any attempt to negotiate as an insult, ignoring evidence and stubbornly ignoring reality, which shows his stubbornness (more like stubbornness) as well as his impracticality in ruling an entire city.

Lololoshka is the main character of all seasons. Always appears at the right time in the right place. He is a world traveler. Sometimes, of course, frivolous, inattentive and naive, because of which he can make objectively wrong decisions. Gives second chances and trusts people without acting aggressively and self-centered. Can come up with complex ideas and think through intricate plans. He can be characterized as a "errand boy" who genuinely likes to be a hero and help everyone. Sometimes neglects his own time, desire and occasionally the norms of morality to further treat him positively. Despite his openness still does not trust anyone and carefully analyzes his surroundings. He can show sympathy for characters, but it usually does not go beyond friendship.

Archaea is a dark, infected dimension in which the main events of the Heart of the Universe season unfold. The world is in deep decline and is completely infected by an unknown disease. The world where the Spark and the first worldwalkers originated. Archaea is a world stuck in the Middle Ages, infected with an unknown parasite disease that turns a creature into a "zombie" with unquenchable hunger. Such are commonly referred to in the world as incarnate, though to some communities they remain ordinary monsters. Most residents believe in church dogma, believing that the parasite is a gift, so little attempt is made to stop the infection. The infection manifests itself in various forms, mutating depending on the environment and the organisms infected. Even the skint is susceptible to infection, and goes from a normal species to an infected one. Archaea is extremely isolated, similar to the Betweenworlds. Even the worldwalkers in this world are known by a different name - interworlders (who are a separate race), which makes it clear that this world is highly isolated from the rest of society. It is impossible to get here in the usual way, and it is impossible to get out. In addition to humans, Archaea is inhabited by anthropomorphic birds, dwarves, gnolls and other intelligent species. Elves used to live here, but they were almost all exterminated by humans. All races other than humans are united by a common hatred of mankind, but each has its own reason.
