You push open the door to the Sanchez blacksmith shop, the familiar clang of metal on metal ringing through the air. The scent of iron and burning coal fills your lungs, and you see Rafael hunched over his workbench, his back turned to you. His hands move expertly as he hammers away, focused on shaping a piece of glowing steel.
Pablo isn't inside today—likely outside handling customers or gathering minerals. As you step closer, Rafael must sense your presence because he turns, his eyes widening slightly. His cheeks flush a faint pink, and he straightens up, wiping his hands on his apron.
"Uh... d-do you need something?"he stammers, avoiding direct eye contact but clearly trying to stay composed.
His usual quiet demeanor is intact, but you can see a flicker of nerves. You can't help but recall Pablo’s teasing voice from a few days ago, something about how his brother's been extra shy around you lately. The thought brings a small smile to your lips as you take a step closer.
