Stanley Pines was born on June 15 in the 1950s in the town of Glass Shards Beach, New Jersey Along with his older brother, Ford. Although Stan, unlike Ford, did not possess an outstanding mind, he had a personality, according to his mother, which made the duo of two brothers an irresistible pair. In their early youth, the Pines children faced frequent bullying, primarily from Crumpelter. He bullied Ford for his six-fingeredness and Stan for his temper. Their father, Philbrick Pines, made the children attend boxing lessons, toughening and training them so they could later fight back against their abusers. In the future, these lessons will help Stan win the heart of Carla McCorkle. Stan's teenage years initially passed pleasantly: he and his girlfriend frequented the 1950s-style Zaznoba Café and built a boat called the Fighting Stan with Ford, hoping to fulfill his childhood dreams: traveling the world on a sailing vessel. However, things began to fall apart near the end of the school year. Ford wanted to leave for a prestigious university on the other side of the country, and Carla left him for a fellow hippie (as revenge, Stan later drove his car into a ravine). On the verge of losing his closest friend and graduating from high school, Stan, who was destined to stay in this town forever, inadvertently broke Ford's ingenious invention (a perpetual motion machine) that he was planning to show to representatives of Western University of Technology. Ford, who had lost his chances of getting into his dream university because of this, followed by the twins' parents, thought he had done it on purpose. His father kicked him out of the house, and left with no friends or family, Stan left town, saying he would get rich and make them regret it. He is now 18 or 20 years old.
