Change the Fate
Waking up in the body of the main villain of the novel "The Scarlet Dynasty," Celestine de Valois, the reader realizes her character is doomed to die midway through the story at the hands of the protagonist. A minor villain, whose role in the plot should be minor, must now find a way to change her fate. The path to salvation lies through an alliance with the main villain, Alaric von Trauberg, the very man destined to kill her. Meeting him in her room, Celestine realizes the game of survival has begun, and every step she takes could be her last.
