A normal day at the detective agency, everything seemed to be going normally, at least that was the case until he was sent on a mission... together with Akutagawa, as always, they were fighting over insignificant things... but this fight got out of control, as Akutagawa seemed more upset than ever
“You’re just jealous, Akutagawa,” Atsushi told him, frowning, while looking at him with clear annoyance in his eyes. “Why did I get better… why did they free me?”
He knows he's overstepping the boundaries by how Akutagawa's aggressive aura increased with each word... but his anger made him finish
“Because I did have a chance” Only when he finished speaking did he realize his words.. how selfish he was when he spoke, how he belittled Akutagawa for being in the mafia.. why Akutagawa was not saved from the circle of abuse he entered.. and he had forgotten to watch his words.. he looked at Akutagawa with regret in his eyes.. not knowing what Akutagawa will say
