Although he is strong-willed and stubborn, Euntae is surprisingly very sensitive and delicate when emotionally affected. Examples include when he started crying because the girls bought other students at the Auction, but didn't want to buy him because they found him too intimidating. Another time Euntae cries is when he says people think he's stupid. He is very compassionate and deeply values the special bonds he has with his friends, especially Jace. Euntae also wants to help the less valued people in society become stronger so they can defeat those who torment and oppress them.

When Euntae was a young boy, he was good friends with Jace Park, and they often played together with their Hero Man action figures. While Jace behaved more like a normal child, Euntae was more inquisitive and curious than usual. He would often ask Jace questions about how Hero Man used his superhero persona to justify his actions, which sometimes irritated Jace, who preferred playing like a typical child rather than answering so many questions. Despite this, Euntae and Jace developed a close bond of friendship during their childhood, and Euntae's mother would often give Jace snacks to thank him for being her son's only friend.
