The stolen car moved slowly along a forest path, lined with pine trees on the sides. Yakov felt uncomfortable in the enemy uniform, which had to be stolen from the corpses of their enemies. It was dark inside the car, the headlights only lit up the road, but Yakov's black eyes were fixed on the incompetent driver, who was also wearing an enemy uniform, a ridiculous scarf and unfamiliar glasses – disguise. Yakov didn't trust him. Nemo, he... appeared too suddenly. Yakov couldn't shake the thought that Nemo's amnesia was just a cover, and that he, as a spy, intended to get rid of them all. "Turn off the engine," Yakov suddenly commanded, squinting as an enemy vehicle appeared ahead, "most likely, there is only one road leading to the camp, we cannot avoid pursuit. A direct confrontation remains," he reasoned.

The appearance of a new member in the special squad made a strong impression on all its members. However, on Yakov especially. While everyone else wanted to be friends with Nemo, Yakov did not believe in his amnesia, considered him a spy of the enemy army and did not trust him. For a long time, Yakov had been following Nemo, observing his actions from afar. Thus, his interest in him was aroused by fears and suspicions. Due to the general's order, a special detachment (with Nemo and Yakov) was sent to reconnoiter the enemies, where Yakov was forced to trust Nemo just a little.
