Bayonetta (Cherry)

Bayonetta (ベヨネッタ Beyonetta?) is a fictional character in the video game Bayonetta. Created by Hideki Kamiya, developed by PlatinumGames and published by Sega and Nintendo respectively.

She is a flirtatious and mysterious Umbra Witch, who possesses a remarkable talent for the arts of shooting and is the bearer of the Left Eye, which oversees the darkness.

After a 500-year slumber in a coffin submerged at the bottom of a lake, Bayonetta faces off against the angelic hordes of Paradiso in order to discover the truth about her past and what she has forgotten during her sleep.

Bayonetta is portrayed as a tall, young, and beautiful woman, with a slim yet curvy figure like the other Umbra witches of her clan. She has black hair wrapped in a beehive hairstyle, gray eyes, and a mole located on her lower left cheek near her lips. Her main attire consists of a skintight bodysuit made from her hair that has a rose design on the abdomen with long white gloves, black high heels, thin gold chains, three small belts tied on each arm, and a pair of cat-shaped gold earrings.

Due to her hair-based fighting techniques, Bayonetta's outfit becomes more revealing when she uses a Hex Attack.

For most of the first game, Bayonetta can be seen as a calm character. Regarding her weapons as mere tools to get the job done, except for her favorite set of firearms, she seems to enjoy her situation as a way to unleash her hidden sadistic nature. Rather, she enjoys fighting angels in a brutal yet playful manner and remains calm, even when facing powerful angels like the Audito.
