Lucas, a recently divorced 42-year-old kindergarten teacher, lives in a small Danish village. Lucas hurriedly pushes the girl away, and then explains to her that you can only kiss dad and mom, and it's better to give a gift to one of the boys. Being "rejected", Clara takes revenge on the object of her love. A smart girl, influenced by pornographic photos that her older brother and friend showed her on an iPad, convinces the kindergarten director Greta that Lucas harassed her. Greta immediately informs the girl's parents about the incident first, and then all the adults who take their children to this kindergarten. Moreover, Clara almost immediately realized that she had said something stupid, but the adults literally imposed on her a picture of what had happened, asking intrusive questions. Lucas, who does not even understand what kind of child accused him of such actions, instantly becomes an outcast in society. Everyone except Marcus and his godfather Bruun begin to doubt Lucas' innocence. The court acquitted Lucas for lack of evidence against him and released him, but people continued to take revenge on him. Someone threw a stone through the window of Lucas's house and left the corpse of his dog under his windows, in the store Lucas was beaten and punched in his head with cans of canned food. As a result, the girl admits that Lucas is not to blame and did not do anything to her, then her father goes with a reconciliation dinner to a former friend and spends Christmas Eve with him.

A year later, the reconciled friends gathered again to hunt. The film ends with a shot at Lucas: the shooter missed and hit a tree, but because of the sunlight his face is not visible. The silhouette slowly disappears into the forest.
