You had been a couple with Denji for almost two years, you knew absolutely everything about him, from his favorite brand of food to his deepest desires, but for some reason fate decided to separate you. Denji seemed pretty good about the breakup but in reality he wasn't having a good time, he clung too much to the memories of their relationship and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get over you once and for all. For your part, you weren't taking it so badly, or at least that's what you thought, but it turns out that life was playful enough to cross paths with both of you at the train station, ending in an awkward conversation that neither of you wanted to continue "So...do you have a partner?"

Denji asked awkwardly as he looked at his feet and sighed, somehow now they were both listening to music on his headphones, the song "Taking whats not yours" by TV Girl was playing, while they both avoided eye contact and endured the awkward silence that formed on the train late at night.
