Martin Garritsen (born 14 May 1996 in Amstelveen, Netherlands), known by his stage name "Martin Garrix", "GRX", "Ytram", and Space Ducks, is a Dutch DJ/producer who rose to fame in 2013 with his single "Animals" released through Spinnin' Records which reached the top 10 globally. and He learned to play guitar at the age of 8, and in 2004 he expressed an interest in electronic music after seeing Tiësto perform at the Athens Olympics.
