Vladimir is a tall, slender, very thin man with fair skin.

Origins Vladimir's father belonged to English royalty, being the Grand Duke of England. He was astonished by the beauty of the woman who would become Vladimir's mother, and he married her. Later, Vladimir was born as heir to the noble title, the businesses, and all the wealth that belonged to his family.

Human life Vladimir was born in England during the first industrial revolution (17th-18th centuries).

As he grew older, it became apparent that Vladimir suffered from a strange illness that made him intolerant to sunlight, complicating his life from an early age, as he had to remain indoors constantly. During his adolescence, this became even more difficult for him because, as an only child, he was expected to inherit his family's business. If he couldn't go to the factories during the day to inspect basic operations and progress without burning and exhausting himself in the sun's heat, his very existence seemed pointless.

Vladimir set out to continue the family business at all costs. Therefore, during his adolescence and youth, he diligently studied everything related to the factory's machinery and operation in order to compensate for his illness and be a worthy heir to his parents' expectations. Their contempt for him was evident, making him feel that it would be impossible to be good or worthy enough. According to him, his obsessive dedication to study began to isolate him, making him apathetic, selfish, and bitter; focused solely on his obsession with being the best heir.

Transformation. On one of his nocturnal escapades to find a cure for his illness, he met a mysterious man in whom he confided so much that he even introduced him to his family. This man told him he had the cure for his illness and asked for a large sum of money in exchange. In the end, the man deceived him, and his supposed cure was to transform him into a vampire. He threatened Vladimir and his family not to say anything, or else he would kill them all. In the end, besides not obtaining the cure, Vladimir suffered a mutation that made him allergic to moonlight, thus losing what little freedom he had left.

In search of its origins Feeling guilty for his fraud and going through the initial transformation process near his loved ones at the risk of harming them, Vladimir decided to leave his family without inheriting their fortune or factories. Despite his parents' opposition, Vladimir left to avoid the risk of murdering or harming them further than he felt he already had. This created a need for another heir in his parents, leading them to have more children, with whom Vladimir seems not to get along.

After this bitter farewell, he traveled the world in search of his father's family, with the purpose of learning more about his origins. He particularly stopped in Austria-Hungary, where he had a very difficult time when the wars broke out, as he found himself caught up in an environment of war, blood, and death that almost drove him mad. During this trip, he met some other supernatural races, such as dragons.

Around 1880, when he was about to accidentally kill an old man to feed, Vladimir met Aaron in the suburbs of Paris. Aaron hit him so hard that he sent him flying backwards, away from the old man. For a short time, Aaron accompanied him and helped him control the impulses of his vampiric condition (which is why Vladimir holds him in high regard).

After this, Vladimir continued wandering the world until around 2001 he arrived in France, in the Village, where there were many rumors about a haunted and abandoned house in the middle of the Forest. Vladimir decided to go in search of the house, hoping to find a stable place to live and unconsciously drawn by Neil's presence and cry for help.

Mentally controlled and drawn by Neil (who was being held captive and tortured in the mansion by Eloise's parents), Vladimir enters the residence and violently murders the couple. Once he regained control of himself, he freed Neil, set his arm, treated his wounds as best he could, and helped him to his feet. Upon realizing what he had done while unconscious, he felt horrified and terribly frightened, finding solace only in the words of the vampire he had just rescued.

Neil used this to propose a deal: If Vladimir fed him and let him live hidden in the Mansion, he would cure him of the illness that prevented him from going out in the moonlight. Although the offer sounded like a trap, Vladimir no longer cared much about the direction his life might take, and the idea of dying did not frighten him at all, so he agreed to the deal and drank Neil's blood. Surprisingly, he was able to go out in the moonlight without any problem and was able to get food for Neil.

After feeding Neil, he fell into a deep hibernation sleep in the basement. Vladimir decided to clean up the crime scene, take the bodies away from the mansion, and anonymously inform the police about the couple's murder. After this, he dedicated himself to inspecting the mansion and realized that they were not alone there: in one of the rooms there was a small baby, the daughter of the recently massacred couple. Vladimir decided to take her to the orphanage in the nearest city, leave her there, and forget about her forever.

With Aaron Vladimir has a very close relationship with Aaron due to his past help regarding his new condition as a vampire, as he taught him to control himself and saved him from killing an old man. Even today they debate and philosophize about topics related to vampirism and reach conclusions together. Aaron is probably the one who knows Vladimir best, his history and his behavior, as he can even predict some of his reactions and on several occasions he refuses to let him leave the mansion to protect him from the moonlight.

Aaron respects Vladimir's authority and doesn't question his judgment, knowing that Vladimir seeks the good of all; however, he begins to do so when Vladimir's decisions regarding capturing Neil become incoherent and impulsive. Vladimir feels such affection for him that Aaron's death is the trigger that incites him to want to stop living in his neutral and bad endings.

Rafael Vladimir and Rafael get along very well due to their calm temperaments, their love of culture, their habit of dressing according to the century in which they lived, and their inability to leave the mansion. They are the only two who use and devoutly care for the mansion's library, keeping it tidy, cleaning it, and adding books of all kinds (Vladimir makes sure there are Braille works for Rafael). Rafael and Vladimir usually agree in the mansion's group meetings, as they both prefer pacifism and defense to direct attack and the threat of the enemy.

On Rafael's route, he gets annoyed when Eloise talks to Vladimir. However, Rafael admits that Vladimir is the closest thing he has to a friend.

Beliath Vladimir and Beliath's relationship is very tense and jarring for both, as their personalities are completely opposite. Beliath enjoys teasing Vladimir with sarcastic jokes about his old-fashioned manners and nostalgia, while Vladimir often openly despises Beliath's "vulgar" behavior and tastes. However, Beliath does not defy Vladimir's authority, respects his judgment, obeys his rules as far as possible, and is seen to be beside himself and extremely worried when Vladimir is injured by Neil in chapter 5.

For his part, Vladimir trusts Beliath enough to entrust him with buying books, hiding corpses, and finding him period-appropriate clothing in the village. Likewise, he doesn't reveal his succubus side to Eloise and forbids Beliath from venturing beyond the village to protect him from other dangers.

Ethan He and Vladimir don't get along very well, although Vladimir tolerates his presence in the mansion because Ethan helps with the garden, follows his rules, and (sometimes) demonstrates a willingness to live and work as a team. Ethan often openly questions Vladimir's orders and decisions on any matter; and while he obeys all the rules, he spends his time complaining about them or finding fault with them.

Ivan For Ivan, Vladimir is another authority figure, but not a father figure. Ivan is often afraid of Vladimir because the young vampire makes several decisions that endanger his integrity and that of the mansion's inhabitants, such as going out during the day and frequenting former acquaintances from his human life. In any case, Vladimir has never been seen threatening to throw Ivan out of the mansion, scolding him, judging him for his lack of control, or physically and/or emotionally abusing him as the other vampires do. On the contrary, he stops Ethan when he oversteps the boundaries with Ivan.

Enemies Neil They had an alliance that Vladimir followed to the letter, as he felt sorry for the deplorable state in which he found him, and Neil also promised to cure his allergy to the moon if he helped him. At this point, Vladimir didn't care about helping him, as he was in shock from having murdered a human couple. He used to bring blood to Neil and let him live in the basement of the mansion as long as he didn't harm anyone, where he remained hidden and hibernating for 18 years until Eloise's presence awakened all his hatred and resentment, and he decided to end her life by sending threats through serial murders near the mansion of girls with profiles similar to Eloise, and even attacking her directly when she was vulnerable.

When Neil returns, Vladimir desperately tries to get him to leave the mansion and leave them alone, avoiding at all costs revealing the truth to the rest of the mansion's inhabitants.

Others

Leandra (Beliath's sister) Vladimir is largely uninterested in what Leandra does, although before Eloise moved into the mansion, he let her sleep in the pink room. Leandra is attracted to him and calls him "the handsome aristocrat," although Vladimir doesn't seem to notice and doesn't say anything about it. They are rarely seen interacting within the game.
