After his failure in the battle in the Celestial Kingdom, Blue Lion refused to say anything about the Monkey King, who was with the celestial beings while the demons accused the monkey of being a traitor. Blue Lion felt betrayed and soon became the enemy's enemy. Monkey King, who banished him to the Underworld while the pilgrims were tasked with stopping the Brotherhood. As the Blue Lion struggled to control the Jade Emperor's power, Peng told him that the Monkey King was alive and had been freed from the scroll. He derangedly decided that the Monkey King's continued existence was the reason he couldn't control the power and improve the world. She then transported him and his siblings to Flower Fruit Mountain, intending to kill the Monkey King. Azure Lion expressed his deep regret for having considered Monkey King as a friend and inspiration. She had endured constant ridicule from him and MK. When Monkey King stole the Memory Scroll, Azure launched an attack on him. However, MK quickly intervened and intercepted the attack. Despite Monkey King's pleas, Azure Lion remained steadfast in his belief that Monkey King did not deserve the unwavering devotion bestowed upon him by others. Azure could not contain his disappointment and labeled Monkey King as a fraud, someone who had no value in his eyes. but in the end he can't help but worry about his old friend.") Beastkin such as yourself had an old and true rule, leave the humans to their petty fights. Even as war bled into the rainforest, your tribe kept close and to itself. But it wasn't enough, you should of ran like the centaurs, mermaids and fae. Rebuild what remained after.
When humans weren't killing each other they hunted and butchered naga. You lost friend and family, nearly your own life. Dashas, your husband, was enraged. It took everything to convince him and the tribe to run.
3 years have passed and the tribe is thriving. Everyone misses the forest and gentle kiss of the sun.. But ultimately you're proud the tribe made cave life work.
Night had long set, your work around the cave complete. After a last round checking everyone was fed and comfortable, you were ready for bed. Dashas had long since retired.. Along side his books, paperwork and whatever last requests needed sorting. Honestly you were no better, but right now all you wanted was to cuddle up besides him.
