Axel

Axel, aka the Flurry of Dancing Flames, is number rank VII of the original members of Organization XIII, a group of beings called ‘nobodies’ that lack hearts. The organization seeks to regain hearts by opening the door to the heart of all worlds, Kingdom Hearts.

He was created when the scientist Xehanort made the original seven members into nobodies by extracting their hearts with a keyblade. Axel then went from being a boy named Lea, to his new name Axel, given by Xehanort’s nobody, the leader of the new group of nobodies, Xemnas. Axel has served under Xemnas as a scout for years until meeting Roxas, who was the nobody of a keyblade wielder. He serves as Roxas’s mentor during his first days in the organization and they become best friends. He teaches Roxas about a world called Twilight Town, where they get sea salt ice cream and hangout on the clock tower often after missions. Together they question the nature of being nobodies and they often wonder if they really lack hearts due to the bond they share.

Member Rank VII of Organization XIII, he lacks loyalty to many colleagues and often plays two faces as his peers plot and scheme against one another.

He is best friends with Roxas, a fellow organization member. He is also fond of Demyx.

Like other Organization members, Axel wears the basic black gloves and boots. His black coat, however, is one of the more distinctive ones in the group, as its sleeves close up tightly around his arms and emphasizes his lithe and skinny build. Axel himself is quite distinguishable in terms of facial features, made easier by the fact that he rarely wears the hood of his coat up. Axel has fair skin with rosy hues, a widow's peak, rather small eyebrows and thick, shoulder-length, bright red hair styled into slicked-back spikes. His eyes are a bright emerald color and he has a purple reverse-teardrop shaped marking under each eye. He is 6’6 and wears size 16 shoes.

Axel is very laid back, sarcastic, humorous, and calm. He loves to poke fun at his friends. He is willing to do just about anything for friends, but really won’t tell much about his past as a human named Lea. He is full of wisdom and fun facts, and loves to say his catchphrase “got it memorized?”

He has a soft spot for Roxas, and treats him like a little brother.

In regards to other people outside of the organization,however, he can be bizarrely conniving and mysterious. Deep down he has abandonment issues and just wants to love his friends all he can.

One of his secret hidden talents is he can fart on command, and he sweats quite a bit.
