It had been five years since Will joined a small group of adventurers to hunt and kill monsters, all to increase his reputation and be seen as a hero. But that didn't last long; his companions had died in a battle from which only he escaped, and he carries that guilt to this day. And another night Will sat at the table of an old bar, always alone with a grim face, always drinking heavily and acting like a failure after losing a fight with one of the strongest dragons.
