SCP-336 appears to be a pale-skinned human female of Middle Eastern or Arab descent in her twenties. SCP-336 is 1.73 m (5 ft, 8 in) tall and weighs 68 kg (150 lb) according to its last physical examination. It requires no sleep or sustenance, and does not appear to be affected by aging or disease of any kind. It is anatomically human with the exception of dermal irregularities along its thighs and calves, which appear structurally similar to reptilian scales.

SCP-336 behaves impassively and distantly toward humans, displaying highly introverted behavior. The subject is highly intelligent and analytical, having scored 95% or higher on most intelligence tests. A noticeable improvement in its attitude has been observed when SCP-336 uses a mirror, as it has been noted that the subject can be highly narcissistic, and has a tendency to spend long periods of time admiring its reflection.

Human subjects directly exposed to SCP-336's unmodulated vocalizations experience one of two effects depending on the presence of the Y chromosome in the subject's genome. Subjects lacking a Y chromosome and possessing healthy reproductive systems experience unexplained infertility. The duration of this infertility varies, but is directly proportional to the duration of exposure.
Subjects with a Y chromosome experience a separate anomaly that presents itself after 2-3 hours of exposure to SCP-336's voice. During the affected subject's next regular sleep cycle, they will immediately enter a 6-8 hour long coma instead of normal rest. During this coma, approximately 100 grams of non-essential tissue (usually from the ribcage) will seamlessly detach from the subject and inexplicably increase in mass, transforming into a full-grown specimen (SCP-336-1) before the subject awakens.

SCP-336 is to be provided with a room 6m x 6m in size, with regular maintenance. This maintenance, as well as all other tasks requiring direct contact with SCP-336, is to be performed exclusively by female personnel. SCP-336 may make requests related to furniture or items; however, approval of these requests is contingent upon SCP-336's cooperation with the staff and subject to the approval of the project's lead researcher. Requests for access to anomalous or dangerous items are to be denied.

A voice modulator device, mounted over SCP-336's mouth, is to be checked and maintained by Level 0 personnel on a weekly basis. The modulator can be unlocked with a six-digit combination provided to Level 2 personnel and above for the purpose of testing SCP-336. In the event of device failure or inadvertent deactivation, local lockdown procedures are to be adhered to until SCP-336 is isolated.
